Area Manager and Vice-President of Operations

An Area Manager and Vice President of Operations has the responsibility for approximately 10-22 Red Roof Inn locations. Duties include, but are not limited to, financial planning and control, sales, product quality, management selection and development, and ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.

General Managers

General Managers run every facet of a $1-4 million-dollar business, including all human resource matters, finance, property and sales management responsibilities. Degree or equivalent work experience required.

Assistant General Manager

An Assistant General Manager is viewed as a potential General Manager. Promotion into the management position is a function of performance as measured by actual results. Degree or equivalent work experience required. Relocation may be required.

General Manager in Training

This position is a developmental position to train and develop the candidate into either an Assistant General Manager or a General Manager by completing a structured training and development program. Relocation may be required.

Floating Management

Floating Management are assigned to an area to provide coverage of an Inn that is without a management or to supplement the management in an area. Their duties are the same as the GM, however their assignments are short-term. The candidate must be willing to travel and to accept a permanent assignment after 6 months to 1 year. Relocation may be required.

Internships

Paid internships are available for university students or recent graduates. Interns will receive experience in all departments and the program can be tailored to meet the school or intern requirements. Internships are available at various properties across the country.
