Overview
The Red Roof Inn internship program is designed to recruit and retain the best and brightest students within the fields of hospitality, business administration and related areas of study. Students completing an internship will gain experience in various functional areas of management, including: Front Desk, Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, and Administration, Sales and Service. This internship may lead to a career within Red Roof Inn.
The objective of the program is to give the intern exposure to the many responsibilities of a General Manager and provide the intern with the foundation necessary to become a General Manager in Training or an Assistant General Manager upon graduation or completion of the internship. Opportunities will vary and relocation upon position placement may be required.
Concentration of responsibilities can vary by Manager and may also vary by intern. |
Qualifications
- Working towards a degree in Hospitality Management or related field or recent graduate.
- A desire to succeed
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Reading, writing, and comprehension skills
- Experience in hospitality management and/or customer service preferred
