RED ROOF® SUPPORTS AMERICAN HEART ASSOCATION WITH $1 FOR EACH STAY BOOKED ON FEBRUARY 29

Brand helps keep Americans healthy with donations in honor of American Heart Month

COLUMBUS, Ohio – February 29, 2012 – February has Red Roof’s heart all aflutter! In recognition of American Heart Month and to show support for the American Heart Association, Red Roof® is donating $1 for every booking made during a 24-hour period on February 29, 2012, up to a maximum donation of $5,000!

Heart disease is now the number one killer of men and women in the U.S. and Red Roof, through this effort, is doing its part to educate consumers, helping to promote awareness of this disease. Red Roof guests – just by booking – become part of the fight and do good in the process. For every booking at participating properties nationwide, starting at 12 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. on February 29, 2012, Red Roof will donate $1 to help keep America’s hearts healthy!

“Raising awareness about heart disease is important for all of us,” said Red Roof Senior Vice President of Marketing Marina MacDonald. “This is Red Roof’s way of investing in the cause and caring for our customers at the same time. We are extremely proud to support the American Heart Association in fighting heart disease and promoting healthy hearts with our February 29 donations.”

Red Roof is also spreading the love to its RediCard® loyalty members this month! Now through February 29, 2012, members can receive double points for their first stay at a participating Red Roof.RediCard members are the first to hear about Red Roof's best deals, with 48 hours advance notice of promotions and exclusive offers available at Red Roof.
