Company supports Veterans returning home with open houses for employment opportunities

COLUMBUS, Ohio – February 28, 2012 – Red Roof® wants YOU! The leading economy lodging brand is welcoming American Veterans home with “America’s Heroes at Work” open houses for potential job opportunities at Red Roof properties across the U.S. from March 5 through March 11, 2012.

Faced with tough economic times, Red Roof is hoping to make reentry for Veterans and their families a bit easier by providing immediate and future employment opportunities to them and their spouses.

“As Veterans return home from serving their country abroad, many are having difficulty finding employment after being out of the job market for so long,” said Red Roof Senior Vice President of Marketing Marina MacDonald. “Red Roof is honoring our Veterans and thanking them for their bravery and dedicated service to our great country. We hope through our ‘America’s Heroes at Work’ program we can make the transition back home easier for them and their families.

Each participating Red Roof property will select one day during the period of March 5-11, 2012 to host its open house for Veteran job opportunities. Individual property open house schedules are listed on www.redroof.com.
