Area Manager and Vice President of Operations
An Area Manager and Vice President of Operations have the responsibility for approximately 10-22 Red Roof locations. Duties include, but are not limited to, financial planning and control, sales, product quality, management selection and development, and ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
Assistant General Manager
An Assistant General Manager is viewed as a potential General Manager. Promotion into the management position is a function of performance as measured by actual results. A degree or equivalent work experience is required. Relocation may be required.
Floating Managers are assigned to an area to provide coverage or to supplement the management team in a needed area. Their duties are the same as the GM, however their assignments are short-term. The candidate must be willing to travel and to accept a permanent assignment after 6 months to a year. Relocation may be required.
General Managers run every facet of a $1-4 million-dollar business, including all human resource matters, finance, property and sales management responsibilities. A degree or equivalent work experience is required.
General Manager in Training
This position is a developmental position to train and develop the candidate into either an Assistant General Manager or a General Manager by completing a structured training and development program. Relocation may be required.
Paid internships are available for university students or recent graduates. Interns will receive experience in all departments and the program can be tailored to meet the school or intern requirements. Internships are available at various properties across the country.
