What are Red Roof Inn’s reservation policies?

Guaranteed Reservations
We will be happy to hold your room for late arrival if you provide one of the following credit cards:
  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Diners Club International
  • Discover Novus
  • American Express
  • Carte Blanche

At most Red Roof Inn locations, guaranteed reservations must be cancelled by 6 p.m. or you will be charged for the 1st night of your stay. (Check with host inn or with central reservations as times and dates to cancel without a penalty may vary by location.)

Room Payment
The first night's payment for your room is required of all guests at check-in. Payment for subsequent nights must be paid in advance on a day-to-day basis (before noon) or may be paid in advance with a credit card or cash when registering. Discounts may not be combined and are not transferable.

Credit cards, cash, travelers’ checks (U.S.), personal checks (RediCard members only) and money orders accepted.

Guests qualifying for tax exempt status are subject to varying state regulations. Please check with your host inn for special payment stipulations.

Group Reservations
Ten or more rooms are considered a group reservation. Group reservations, cancellations or charges require a call to our Special Services at 1-800-874-9000 or the host inn.

Special Events
During certain local and national events (such as the Indianapolis 500, Kentucky Derby, college sporting events, concerts and festivals), special conditions and rates may apply. Consult Special Services at 1-800-874-9000 or the host inn for details and reservations.

Special requests
Red Roof Inn will attempt to honor special requests (such as first floor, non-smoking rooms, etc.) However, the availability of these rooms cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Cancellation
If it becomes necessary to cancel a reservation booked through this website, it is recommended to cancel through the same entity. This is convenient and efficient providing an email notification of the cancellation.

At most Red Roof Inn locations, guaranteed reservations must be cancelled by 6PM (check with host Inn or Central Reservations, as times and dates to cancel without a penalty may vary by location).

Can I combine the Internet rate with any other promotional offer?

Our internet rates are special promotional offers for our Internet users! They cannot, therefore, be combined with other discounts or promotions.

I know I can make and cancel a reservation. Can I modify it too?

If you need to modify your reservation (for example, you want to add an additional person); we ask that you please call us on 1-800-THE-ROOF within the USA/Canada; If calling from outside the country, please call at 1-614-601-4050 or fax at 1-937-325-4095.

Is there a limit to the number of reservations I may make per day?

Yes there is a limit. You may make one reservation per credit card, per property, per day. You may, of course, make a different reservation at a different hotel (with the same credit card) on the same day.

Is a credit card required for an online reservation?

Yes it is….you’ll find that most online reservation systems require a credit card. encrypt your card number! Also, don’t forget to cancel your reservation prior to 4 p.m. on your date of arrival (some hotels require a 6:00 p.m. cancellation instead). If you don’t cancel your reservation, you’ll be billed for a one-night’s stay.

What is Red Roof Inn’s Guaranteed Reservation Promise?

In the unlikely event that we cannot honor your guaranteed reservation or your smoking preference (for most room types), we will reimburse you for the first night’s lodging at a comparable motel, transportation to that establishment and a telephone call to your home or office to notify others of your new location.

Is an e-mail address required to make a reservation?

Yes, it is… a confirmation notification will automatically be forwarded to this address. Therefore, the address should be that of the guest. For security purposes, a confirmation or cancellation notification will never contain any credit card information.

How important is my confirmation notice?

Very important! Please read it carefully. It contains all the important details about your reservation: rate, cancellation information, etc.

Can I book more than two people into a room?

Generally speaking, yes. However, extra-person charges may apply for anything over two people. Check your confirmation for extra person charges.

Can I book a smoking preference?

We will happily take your smoking preference, and guarantee it for most room types.

What if I have a special request?

We welcome your requests! Enter any special requests in the "comments" field of the booking page. Please understand that we cannot guarantee these preferences. We’ll always, however, do our best to accommodate them when you check-in.

Can I enter my RediCard number?

You sure can! Your RediCard number can be added to the booking page and we will communicate the number to the hotel to let them know you are a RediCard cardholder or create a RediCard Member Personal Login and Password. Login to your RediCard Member account each time you visit redroof.com before making reservations. We'll save you time by conveniently auto filling your name, address and other designated information.
