Do I need a credit card to make a reservation?

A credit card is required for all online hotel reservations at Red Roof. This guarantees your reserved room until your arrival date. Your credit card will not be charged until you arrive at the hotel.

If you’d like not to use your credit card online, we welcome you to make your reservations by calling 800.RED.ROOF or by contacting the hotel property directly.

Will my credit card be charged if I forget to cancel my hotel room reservation?

Yes. If you do not cancel your online reservation as stated in Red Roof’s cancellation policy, your credit card will be charged for one night’s stay. You can review our cancellation policy at the bottom of your online reservation confirmation.

How do I view, modify or cancel my hotel reservations online?

You can review or update your reservation online by submitting your confirmation number and last name. If you are having issues with accessing or modifying your reservation online, call us at 800.RED.ROOF.

Does your online reservation process protect my personal and credit card information?

All online reservations made through redroof.com are safe and secure. Your personal data as well as your credit card information are processed through a secure computer server which encrypts your information while in transit for further protection. For more details, review our privacy policy.

I lost my confirmation number. How can I find it?

We can help you retrieve your confirmation number for your reservation. Simply contact the hotel property directly or call us at 800.RED.ROOF.

Why did I never receive a confirmation for my online reservation?

We send a confirmation to the email address you provide when reserving your room online. If your email address was entered incorrectly or is no longer active, we cannot send you written confirmation.

You still have a reservation with us, but we understand that it’s reassuring to still have it in writing. You can call us at 800.RED.ROOF or the hotel property directly to confirm your reservation and update your email address.

How can I contact a specific Red Roof property?

Our website features all our Red Roof Inn and Red Roof PLUS+ locations. You can find your hotel property’s address and phone number by typing your hotel property or travel destination location in the search bar found on the homepage and book page.

Does Red Roof have a rewards program?

I found a lower price for a Red Roof room on a different website. Can I get the lower rate?

We promise the best hotel rate for any Red Roof and Red Roof PLUS+ room with RediPromise™ – Best Price Always at redroof.com. If you believe that you found a lower price for the same hotel, room type, number of guests, and date, you can submit an online claim form within 24 hours of booking and at least 24 hours before check-in. If it qualifies, we’ll match the price and take off an additional 15% from your stay. We recommend reviewing our terms and conditions before submitting your claim.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is detailed at the bottom of your online reservation confirmation.

How can I make a special request?

You can ask for rollaway beds or cribs as well as other special requests during the reservation process. When making your reservations online, fill out the Additional Requests section with your needs. When booking your reservation at 800.RED.ROOF or with the hotel property directly, please let us know so that we can make a note on your reservation with your request.

While we strive to honor your needs, some special requests cannot be guaranteed.

How do I book an ADA-compliant room?

Red Roof offers guests the option to reserve ADA-compliant rooms which feature wider doorways, height-adjusted handles and mirrors, and additional grab bars in room baths. Many ADA-compliant rooms also offer roll-in showers.

You can select an ADA-compliant room when booking your reservation online, by phone at 1-800-RED-ROOF or by calling the hotel property directly.

How do I book a group reservation?

To reserve 10 or more rooms per night for your group, you can contact our Group Sales Office at 1-800-874-9000 or by submitting this form. Our commercial customers can review their options on our Volume Plan Plus® page online.

Your Stay at Red Roof

How do I notify the hotel that I will arrive after the check-in time?

We guarantee to hold your room for late arrival for all reservations booked with a credit card number. If you know in advance that you will arrive late, please note it in the Additional Requests section when booking your reservation online or by letting us know when making your reservation by phone. If you know you’ll arrive late within 24 hours of your reservation, please call the hotel property directly.

All RediCard members automatically receive an 8PM courtesy hold on their reservation.

What if I left something behind at a hotel?

Once you realize you’ve left an item behind, please contact us by calling the hotel property directly. We will then work with you to get your item returned.

Where can I write a review about my stay?

We’ve partnered with TripAdvisor® to bring your voice to the redroof.com experience. You can write a review about your latest stay at Red Roof by logging on to your TripAdvisor® account. You can also access all published reviews right from the property’s page on redroof.com.

Pets

Are pets allowed at Red Roof?

We invite you to bring your pet to one of our 500+ hotel locations free of charge. We’ve even made it easy to find nearby dog parks to your hotel.

What is your pet policy?

We ask all guests bringing pets to Red Roof to follow these guidelines:

* One well-behaved family pet is permitted unless prohibited by state law or ordinance
* Service animals are always welcome.
* Pet must be declared during guest registration.
* Please keep your animal on a leash when outside your room.
* In consideration of all Red Roof guests, pets must never be left unattended in the guestroom.
* When you walk your pet on property, please be considerate and clean up after your pet.

Due to state laws, ordinances, or contract provisions, not all of our locations can accept pets. The following locations are not able to accept your pet, but service animals are always welcome: Oxon Hill, MD #181; Flushing, NY #727; Queensboro LIC, NY #771. We apologize for any inconveniences.
