Worst hotel ever

This is the worst run hotel ever. When we walked I went to use bathroom and noticed there was human crap smeared on the shower wall and the tub was filthy And there was dead bugs everywhere and floors was dirty. I went and spoke with manager about the crap and he said he couldn’t switch our room and he’d have the housekeeping come clean it. House keeping came in and guy used his finger to scrap the crap off the wall!!!!!!! Never washed his hands afterwards either. It was him and another lady who couldn’t not speak English at all that so called recleaned the room. The guy was touching everything with his crap covered fingers. I went back to front desk and demanded disinfecting wipes. The manager the proceeded to tell me it was gray grout that fell from side of tub. I have pictures and pulled them up right then and there and said oh this is gray grout??? He looked really baffled and gave me my wipes. I wish there would’ve been another hotel around that had a room but I called everywhere and everything was booked. Also found old dried pee on back of toilet lid when lifted up. I still have the pictures on my phone and if any Health problems arise from this crappy hotel I’ll be contacting my lawyer. I’d much would’ve rather slept in a no tell motel than this place. Adding the picture of the human crap that they claimed was gray grout.

I went to the red roof inn, in piqua ohio with a few friends and it was so convenient being right off the interstate and so close to restaurants. The girls at the front desk were so friendly and we got all the extra towels we needed. With all of us being girls and needing LOTS of shampoo and conditioner, they didnt have a problem sparing us what we needed. We had so much fun and the front dest ppl were awesome with giving us directions and helping us finding things to do while we were in town. Red roof was awesome, I would definitely recommend it!

I have stayed here several times and have always experienced a great stay!! Staff is wonderful, very friendly. Affordable as well as my go to place to stay when I’m in town. Healthy breakfast selection, comfortable beds, upon request they always meet your needs to the best of their ability. Great stay and I will be back soon!!

We stayed there Saturday night due to all other hotels being booked! If it wasn't 11:30 and tired I would have never stayed! I left everything in one table as so nothing could touch it and slept with only a white sheet because I knew it was clean. Room was gross paint peeling off the walls other people's hair on the floor in bathroom when we came in and to give you an idea this was one of the chairs in the room at $130 per night gross don't stay here!!!

From Friday, June 15 through Monday, June 18, 2018, my husband and I stayed at the Red Roof Inn, Piqua, Ohio. Upon arrival, we were not even sure the location was still open, that's how poorly the exterior is maintained. "Let's hope it gets better," my husband said. It didn't. I kept a list of the issues we encountered, and I will share them below. Additional explanations will be included as needed. First, there was NO ELEVATOR?! How is that even legal when the only stairs are interior stairs? Potential guests need to be made aware of this at the time of the booking. Upon entering our "suite" (on the second floor/no AC in the halls) we immediately noticed a "musty" smell. There was no toilet tissue holder in the bathroom. The bathroom door didn't close; it was as though they put a different door in that is too big, and just didn't care. The doorknob kept coming off. No vent in the bathroom. After spending a long and exhausting day at the dog show, when we returned to our room, neither key worked! That was another trip up and down those treacherous stairs! NO HOT WATER! When I went to take a shower our first night, there was no hot water. I called down to the front desk. The clerk who was working acted like he had no clue what to do. He said, "I'll be up in a minute." Taking a chance, we just let the tap open and running. About 20 minutes later, we finally started to get hot water. Notice, the clerk did not appear in that time. He finally arrived close to an hour later. My sense is that because the hotel was vacant, hot water heaters were powered down/lower dramatically to save money. UNACCEPTABLE! Once that was resolved and we were going to bed, probably the WORST part of our stay occurred. THERE WAS BLOOD ON ONE OF MY PILLOWS! The sheets *smelled* like sweat and dirt, and I have NO DOUBT someone was sleeping in that bed and the linens were never changed. SICKENING! The next morning, I stopped at the front desk and demanded that house keeping (I was told they begin at 8 am) go to my room UPON ARRIVAL and change all of the bedding! I said we would be back early afternoon, and the cleaning had to be done before that. I was assured that would be fine. We returned at 2:30 and the room had not been touched! When I called downstairs to complain, I was ridiculed and insulted. Finally, over an hour later, a man and woman arrived. It took me three attempts to make them understand the linens on BOTH beds had to be changed!! The stairs we were told to use to take the dogs outside were disgusting! Only one hand rail, paint peeling off the walls in giant chunks, trash everywhere.... I cannot imagine a building inspector would find that acceptable. The actual area where we were told to take the dogs was even worse than the stairs! Empty beer cans littered the entire area. Hundreds of cigarette butts, trash, and chicken bones were everywhere! Thankfully we are VERY careful with our show dogs; had one of them ingested any of those bones, there would be a lawsuit. The furnishings in the "suite" looked like they came from a garage sale. The dresser had no handles on the drawers and it was filthy inside. The mini-fridge was also, quite obviously, salvaged from somewhere. The coffee pot had to be moved from its precarious perch on top of the microwave to a precarious perch on the sink in order to make coffee. The second day, we once again returned to an untouched room. It was after 5:00 pm when the same two arrived. I told them we only needed clean towels, and in an effort to help, I bundled up our used towels in a roll and handed them to him. HE DROPPED THE ROLL ON THE FLOOR AND COUNTED THE TOWELS I GAVE HIM!! Insulted doesn't even begin to cover my feelings. The towels I use on my dogs are better than those horrible things; I surely would not steal them! I am currently awaiting a return call from Red Roof corporate, but even they seem to be ignoring the issues at this location. Even if you have to drive further, I recommend that rather than staying here!
