Friendly staff, clean rooms.

We were made welcome as soon as we arrived and given a very clean and tidy room. This hotel is very handy to the I-40 and, despite this, is quiet in the rooms. We were there when roadworks were being done on the I-40 access roads but the didn't impede us at all. Two nights on the way west and one on the way east and each time very happy to stay here. Would recommend this hotel, and will stay here again if we are travelling through Amarillo.

Excellent stay right off the highway!

Don't let the outside fool you! It was super affordable and the room was very very updated and nice the outside wasn't very appealing but I can say don't let that fool you, very nice and it is a quiet place to stay. Will come back and stay again when in Amarillo.

Awesome Hotel!

This hotel is one of the nicest/cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in. I’m not sure what other reviewers are talking about but we had no problems and the staff was very lovely and friendly. Rooms were clean and looked like they just renovated the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any one and I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Amarillo.

We booked this place due to the favorable reviews on Hotels.com plus the inclusion of the pool and breakfast. I was amazed at the rate..until we showed up. The lobby and breakfast areas were filthy. I asked about the breakfast and was told that they didn't offer breakfast anymore. The clerk seemed indifferent about it. I finished checking in, and walked over to the window to check out the pool. It was greenish-brown and obviously not available. The clerk told me it was not open yet for the summer..um this was the 2nd week of June in Texas..it's been pool weather for about 2 months. Went up to our room and the bathtub was peeling, the shower curtain rod was about to fall out of the wall and the door frame was pulled about 1-1/2 inches off the wall right where the safety chain lock attaches to the door. It looked as if someone tried to break in, but the chain was engaged. In other words, someone tried to break in while someone was staying in the room. I had seen enough. left with my 2 young daughters and went to cancel the room. The lady got angry when I brought up the breakfast, blaming Hotels.com, was indifferent to the pool and room conditions, and then refused to refund the full amount. As of today - 5 days later, the full amount is still charged to my bank account. We left and went to the Baymont Inn next door - it was much better and only costs about $25 more for the entire weekend.

Just ok

Location is convenient off freeway, but kind of a run down area. If I was alone, I’d be a bit nervous. However, the room was clean. Bathroom needs updates and shower wasn’t great. It was a cheap stay and you get what you pay for.
