Not breakfast?

I arrived around 5 on Tuesday July 31. I asked politely for my reservation and the angry lady behind the desk asked me screaming twice. First for my name. Second to ask me for payment. She was unpleasant and angry. Sad I couldn't get her name. Besides that rooms are convenient and clean with and offer to bring you food to the room if wished. It was a bit noisy but not to avoid sleeping. But this morning when I went to have breakfast at 7.30 it wasn't ready and I left without even a coffee. Nobody reply to me about it so I left. I am not a breakfast guy so it did not bother that much but I was expecting at leat a cup of coffee. After all,I don't think I will stop here again.

Do NOT stay here!! I am a 17 year retired Law Enforcement Officer and even I didn't wish to stay here! Upon arrival, the clerk was rude, was given the key and walked toward the hotel door. Before we got to the door, we had two crack heads ask us if we needed to buy drugs or a hooker. Then, we entered the room, smelled of strong cigarette smoke, electrical socket hanging out of the wall, the bed did not have a protective mattress cover, mattress was stained. And the best of all.. when we went to get a refund and tell the clerk the issues and showed her the pictures. She stated she could not issue refunds the manager had to do that. Then, stated it was normal to have drug interactions on their property. I attempted now for two days to get a hold of the manager and customer service, STILL NO response back. I was told that the manager come in and out when they want too. I am confused on who says this location is good.

Dirty Hotel and Terrible Cutomer Service

Stay Away! This hotel is dirty! They also will charge for extra nights! Stopped here in our way from California to South Carolina. They charged my credit card 2 weeks later for not only 1 but 2 nights when we didn’t even stay a full night because the place was disgusting. The handicap rooms are not handicap accessible at all. The room smelled terrible and there was no working ice machine anywhere on the property. The staff was rude and lacked customer service skills. I contacted customer care and they directed me to the hotel manager. Who did absolutely nothing about any of the issues. I contacted customer care again and they have not contacted me back. We travel a lot and usually will go to a red roof because we have dogs and they usually offer a discount for military service members but after this experience we will stay elsewhere.

Over all condition is poor and dilapidated. Rooms were clean-ish, but lobby area was not. Breakfast is NOT provided as advertised. Pool was dirty and unkempt. Parking lot is a hot mess. I paid in cash and had to wait nearly 40 minutes at check-out for someone to inspect the room before I could get my $50 incidentals deposit back, even though they had a credit card on file from my reservation. I do commend one desk clerk for the patient and kind way she handled some other guests who were unnecessarily rude to her.

Walked in and ran out

I booked the room via a third party. Was very late coming into Amarillo. I checked in and that should of been my first clue. The lady behind the desk was eating and drinking during my check in. The lobby was absolutely filthy. Dishes in the sink. Went to my room. There was a pile of cigarette butts when I parked next to my door. I walked in and ran out. Was not clean. The bathroom was disgusting. I went out to talk to my nephew. He was watching a drug transaction going on in the back parking lot. People were staying there who looked like it was their home and not traveling. I call Red Roof in and wanted to cancel my room. They could not do it. I called the 3rd party and they called the lady behind the desk. She would not cancel my reservation. I did not feel safe at this hotel. I left the key on the counter because she was checking in two people. This motel was not safe for a single women with a child. I would like credit back on my card but I am not going to hold my breath.
