Although this property is being renovated, there are some issues with the age of the property, shoddy workmanship and poor housekeeping. The first room we were assigned (#148) had a broken inner door lock and the door itself did not fit the door frame, leaving a large gap and making is so that the door did not close/lock properly in the frame. We moved to another room, where at least the lock was not broken. We were told by the front desk that all the room's doors had this same gap between the door and the frame, but that we shouldn't be concerned about security because "nothing ever happens in Williams." OK. The workmanship of the renovations is poor. Fixtures are crooked, and the room doors are not flush letting light, noise and dirt in. The doors are painted with flat paint so every scuff, hand print and footprint is left, making the room look dirty and dingy. The floors were filthy, with dust and leaves, the bathroom window was rusty and moldy, the toilet paper fixture was too big for the rolls, the microwave did not work, there were cigarette butts and trash in the walkway in front of the rooms. The staff did fix the microwave and were generally very pleasant but we weren't asked about our stay at checkout so I sent my feedback directly to Red Roof Inn's email survey. I got a response from Dan Patel, the GM of the property and it's essentially the same response posted on the bad reviews on this website. They don't seem to be using the feedback as a "coaching opportunity" as is stated in the responses here. This property is not a "Plus" I had a much better experience at the regular Red Roof Inn in Louisville KY last year. Unless they get some better contractors in to fix the workmanship of the renovations, and start to address the cleanliness of the property and the rooms, I would not recommend a stay here.

First of all I always try to be honest in my reviews. This hotel was GROSS! As one one the photos shows the bottom of one of my family members after walking across the floor. Another shows foot prints on the door. Someone else obviously wanted out too! The window in the bathroom looked like something out of the 1950's and was just plain dirty. The entry of which I also took pictures shows cigarette butts and dirt as you enter the room. It also took about 10 minutes of running the water to get hot water. In my opinion this place needs a good cleaning before another room is rented for the night. Never ever again. I wouldn't stay here if the room was free. Reminded me of a room that is rented by the hour!

Front staff was very friendly checking in. Rooms clean and comfortable. Beds very comfortable. Location is great. Would stay again. Steak house on property. Very quiet and a place you can rest. Pool and hot tub. Worth the stop.

Nice hotel and easy drive to the Grand Canyon

Stayed in Williams because the cost of the hotels closer to the Grand Canyon was more than I could spend. Glad I did!! The hotel was great. No issues. It's on one end of the main street. Williams was a great "Route 66" town to experience and had the best burger and onion rings at the "World Famous" Sultana Bar.

Fantastic place to stay

We were traveling from our old home in Illinois to our new home in Las Vegas. After a tiring day of driving we spent the night at Red Roof -Plus. We arrived very late, expecting no place to eat. Scott hooked us up with a great meal from Miss Kitty's.I must say this is one of the nicest Red Roofs we have seen.I wish we could give it higher than 5 stars.
