Been staying at Redroof Parsippany for some time now, and without Marsha my stay would not have been so enjoyable, she's a WONDERFUL employee, she makes ALL things happen to keep me and my siblings content and satisfied while we're away from home. Stay away from room 255!!!

First let me say that Red Roof Inn refunded our stay for this room after I filled out their survey email. I write this because I have never had a good TripAdvisor review and the actual experience be so different. TripAdvisor has never led me wrong before. First, our check in time was 3pm. When we arrived they said that one of the housekeepers had not shown up so our room would not be ready for two hours. We also could not have rooms right next to each other as requested. We went to Barnes and Noble for awhile and when we came back our room was ready. They had left our daughters' door open while they cleaned so it was full of bugs, the safe did not work and cigarette burns on their linens our daughters' room. Other than that, 251 had minimal issues. Our room was a much different story. Our room, #255 was a corner top room. It is my belief that the roof had issues thus causing many of the following problems. The ceiling had water issues so the plaster was bubbled in many places as well as mold in many places in the room. The bathroom had mold all around the shower. The light over the vanity and sink would not come on. The floor felt damp so I wore my shoes in the room and made sure nothing sat on the floor. We also had cigarette burns on our linens even though both rooms were supposed to be smoke free. The vent on the A/C unit was broken but it WORKED, unlike the safe. Finally, the fire alarm was beeping intermittently. When we called maintenance to come fix it, they were prompt to respond. They put in another battery and, even though the beeping continued, claimed it was fixed. My husband was half way to the office when they told him they had it fixed which indeed it had stopped beeping. By this point I am sure you are asking why we didn't just go someplace else. I looked at many different places but most were booked and we were only staying one night. If the girls' rooms had been as ours was we would've moved no matter what as one of our daughters is terribly allergic to mold. Red Roof Inn needs to close this one room until they get the water issue addressed and the mold cleared out. We appreciate their refunding our money but if you are staying here, be sure to stay away from this room!!

We are repeat visitors at this establishment. Our family is always ensured of immaculate rooms and service everyday. It is comforting to know that the staff knows us and welcomes us with open arms. Everyone there was and is very friendly and helpful. You have a variety of eateries to either go and sit down at, or have a delivery made. Pet friendly too, which is extremely important. The General Manager Ms Peavy and the front desk Manager Mrs Perry are very professional. We recommend this Hotel anytime. If we could give them a 10 we would.

I have been coming here for a few years now and all I can say this is the place to be for a convenient stay away from pricier hotels. Marsha Perry is ace when it comes to customer service and the rest of the staff are great as usual. Room wise very comfortable and quiet. Slowly but surely the area is picking up on activities and since it is almost summer, they're things to do and get involved in. Growing eateries are here too especially Kabab Paradise on North beverwyck Rd. Thumbs up and will continue to come back here.

I booked my stay at the Red Roof Inn, Parsippany online. When I arrived I was greated by Marsha who although I was a few hours early and not entitled to a room right away, she graciously accommodated me after doing her magic. I had originally only booked for overnight but then found out the next morning I needed and extra night, but the room I was currently in was already booked upon my checkout. Marsha to the rescue again! I went to the lobby for the new charge and room key, and Marsha was able to find me a room that I could go to without having to wait. She didnt have to do what she did or go the extra mile, but I am very appreciative that she did. Clean rooms, affordably priced backed by excellent customer service. What more could I ask for?
