WORST HOTEL EVER - Bad Service, Disorganized & have roaches on the rooms!!!!!

Overall our experience at the hotel was the a nightmare. I have booked a week at this hotel thinking it would be a great experience but I wish I did not book this hotel. The rooms were dirty with roaches. The hotel management is very disorganized that they couldn't find my rooms and I got kicked out of the rooms with bodyguard with my 2 babies 6 and 2 yrs old both were crying and scared. It was very disappointing and bad experience overall. The food is disgusting and the service the hotel provides is horrible. Noone is friendly nor are organized. They are all over the place. The rooms were dirty and you can see the roaches everywhere in the room. I have tried to get a refund or compensated for their mistake and bad experience but they did not accept nor acknowledge the inconvenience I went through. I booked this place and went with my family as we went to celebrate an anniversary and this hotel and staff ruined the whole vacation. I don't recommend this hotel to no one for overall bad service!!!!.

First we come into the room and the covers have stains all over them. We go to shower and they dont have enough towels for the amount of people we have in the room. When we go up ourselves to get towels we are told to bring our other towels back. We come in for the night with 2 dogs continuosly barking, I call to advise the front desk of this and I am told they will try to find the owners but this is a pet friendly hotel. I didnt bring my pets for this reason, they will bark at everything. I asked them why they didnt put the people with pets in their own area. They dont do that, so you may be in a room that has had pets. The floors are not clean, the bathroom tub is moldy. This place is horrible. Their were 3 people at the front desk and only one of them helping people, 2nd time, one of the clerks ignored everyone even when you were standing in front of her. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Their are towels and clothes hanging outside the rooms, people are standing up and down the hall smoking. You cant leave with out walking in a smoky area. Do not waste your money. For breakfast they ran out of cream cheese and bagels and beeakfast wasnt half over, I was told to get there early if I want it.

I booked a night away for my fiancé and I and this place ruined everything! They are a pet friendly establishment but do not have select rooms for pets. All rooms allow pets. I am highly allergic to dogs; and when I entered the room immediately saw dog fur floating in the air. It was everywhere! There was other filth everywhere and the staff was rude about it. I offered to show pictures at the front desk and she refused to look at them. They also refused a full refund even though I was there less than 15 minutes. I went into a full blown allergic reaction and had to rush to a 24 hour emergency clinic because my medications weren’t helping. It took 3 breathing treatments and two shots for me to be able to even breathe! Please be aware that this establishment allows pets in every room, not just designated ones. The staff is rude. They do not answer phones at all. And they will not offer refunds. Two other customers checked out in line before me due to filthy rooms.

Summer Vacation Making the best of a bad situation

DISCLAIMER: Hopefully, this is a one time occurrence and not the standard process for this hotel. However, what I am writing is an actual personal experience. WOW what a disaster. We made reservations 3 months in advance of our vacation for a party of 4 (2 adults+2 children). When we arrived (Sun at 5PM), there were 25 people in front of me waiting to check in. Don’t know how many families. However, it took 30 min to get to desk (there were 3 staff at the desk checking in arrivals), only then to find our our room was not ready. The desk staff was kind and friendly. Most of the hotels that I stay in prepare that day’s arrivals w/ resv the night before (paperwork & room keys) in order to preclude a lengthy check in process. My wife and I just got back (2 weeks ago) from Maui, and my complete check in process there was about 5-10 including a brief orientation of the hotel. This trip to Galveston was to take the grandkids to the beach. Many of the cleaning staff walked out the day of our arrival, leaving many of the rooms not prepared for arriving guests. 2 hours later (7 PM) our room became available. We get to room, beds were made, trash was empty, but toilet paper had not been refreshed nor was there facial tissue available in the room. How many guests did I say we had on our resv? 4 why did we only have 3 towels? I guess the bottom line here is you get what you pay for. If you book a cheap (relatively speaking) hotel, don’t expect to get 5 star service. Although I have to admit, the TV (40” flat screen) and A/C worked great. After 7 hours on the road, it was a relief to lay down with A/C and relax. At the time of this review, the hotel was dated and needed a significant upgrade/refresh.

I will never stay at this place again.

After waiting a ridiculous amount of time to check in with very unprofessional staff at the front desk, we entered our room and it smelled moldy, the light above the sink was not working. We called the front desk and 1 hour later 2 men show up knocking at our door. They did not look like staff. They stepped on the sink with their shoes (no ladder) and said they couldn't fix it. We had to go back to the front desk to ask for another room. Later, we notified the manager at the front desk that the room we were given at check in was not ready for use. She said she was a new manager and thanked us for letting her know. She asked us to call her back if we needed anything else. We got back to new room and realized we could not start the shower. We called and asked for the manager and she had left (10 minutes after we left the front desk!). The staff finally came in to show us how to start the shower (it was very unusual). The only good thing was that the A/C worked. That's it! Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.
