The property is clean, modern and secure and conveniently located close to DFW, so I have no complaints about the property itself. The shuttle service on the other hand was terrible. I waited for 45 min at airport for shuttle to arrive. Rude Somali shuttle driver. the shuttle service is shared between 3 properties.

Had to take my son to fly out for the marines so needed this one close to airport good area everything went well checking in and out it was a nice place for a day or to probably not much longer but it was ok

My husband and I stayed one night here because we were flying out of DFW the next morning and this hotel is very, very close to the North entrance. Upon arrival, my husband went to check-in. For some reason it did take him a long time to get through check-in. However, he didn’t complain so I guess it was nothing major. I noticed while sitting in the car waiting on my husband that the hotel did in fact have an airport shuttle because passengers were being dropped off. I noticed a lot of individuals who appeared to be businessmen pulling suitcases so I assumed that this hotel was one that catered to the needs of individuals traveling on business. Nevertheless, a Denny’s is located next to the hotel so you can walk from the hotel parking lot to Denny’s parking lot and be there in a minute literally. As for the rooms, they were clean and spacious. Fortunately, there was an iron and ironing board, clothing hangers, hair dryer, refrigerator, and microwave in the room. It was literally everything that I needed. I also liked that the room had DirectTV. That was a big plus along with the free WiFi. FYI, the WiFi information is printed on your key card. My husband wasn’t told that at check in. He had to call to find out. The WiFi was faster than my WiFi at home so I was really happy about that. I can’t speak on breakfast because we had a 7:15AM flight which meant we wouldn’t be able to get breakfast. Nevertheless, I will stay again. Lastly, there are stairs and an elevator for those who may not be able to climb stairs or have a lot of bags.

Poor customer service with attitude!

First time experience and it was not good! There were 2 African American men behind the desk. One of them was Jason and the other was a skinny guy. He had no name tag and was the one who helped me with the check-in process. It took a while to check-in for whatever reasons and there was absolutely no apology for that. Once check-in was done, I was simply given the keys with the direction to the room. I gave few minutes to see if I was going to be told anything about the other important stuff like WiFi, free shuttle to the airport, free coffee in the lobby, check-out time, etc., but nothing was told until I asked for each of them. Went to the room only to find out no WiFi. I called the front desk and I think it was Jason who picked up the line. His attitude was not friendly at all. He told me to try in few as router has been reset. When I insist on how important WiFi is for me, he rudely told me that I can come to the lobby and use WiFi there. What kind of answer is that? Why I would leave comfort of my room and go to the lobby for my WiFi needs? He then told me that there was some power outage earlier and that might have tripped something. He then simply hung up on me. While I do understand unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, how come I was not told about this issue when I was checking-in? I ended up day 1 with no WiFi at all. I came to my room the next day and there were water on the floor next to the fridge, about to damage my stuff. I called the office and also asked to send some towels with the maintenance because I have used whatever I had. Again, rude response from some male was that I need to come to the office as they don't send anything with the maintenance. Once again, no apology or anything for the inconvenience. Maintenance guy showed up, without any towel, and told me that house keeping supposed to check the fridge when they clean the room on a daily basis and need to tell maintenance if there is any defrosting issue. Obviously, that didn't happen and I am the one who suffered because of that. Room service didn't replenish soap and I had to ask her twice for that. When confronted she start arguing on how I only asked once and not twice. Really? First of all, I should not be even asking for it and then on top arguing instead of apologizing...Wow! Just Wow! At the check-out, I had to deal with this rude young African American lady who had the same no caring attitude for the guest. Overall, horrible customer service at this hotel. Staff definitely needs an immediate training on what customer service really is. As of now, it looks like they are working because they just have to and absolutely don't care about the guest and/or their business. I will definitely look somewhere else next time.

Fantastic stay... impeccable service from all employees. The cofee was great, and the front desk employees were friendly and well aware of local area. The shuttle service was on time and had an easy to understand schedule. Rooms were well cleaned and maintained. Dallas was a great city and Red Roof was a great home away from home.
