This is a very basic hotel close to Sea-Tac. It has a shuttle service, but it's just less than 15' walk from the airport. Not fancy at all, a bit outdated, no breakfast, no business center, no pool or anything else to enjoy, but if you need just to stay a night it's acceptable. Depending on your neighbors, of course, as walls are thin.

We have stayed at many Red Roof Inns in the past. I don’t really recommend this one. The cost was outrageous. I will say this, most decent hotels in Seattle are super-expensive - especially near the pier where are Cruise is leaving from. So we decided to stay out near airport. Because we’ve used Red Roof Inns before we had a pre-set idea of what to expect. I don’t mind paying up as long as stuff is included. But t it wasn’t. LOL. We had to pay $180 for one night. On top of that, we had to pay $10 for parking. $1.50 for the safe. $3.00 for the fridge. There were no complimentary anything’s in the room. LOL. True, you can ask to have all those charges - except parking - removed upon check out but what a pain. Wi-fi was free and a strong signal. There is no restaurant or continental breakfast at this Red Roof Inn. No pool. But plenty of garbage in and around the property. It was pretty disappointing to see the amount of garbage lying around the property and in the parking structure. The rooms, we had a king size bed, were tidy. Beds comfortable and linens clean. There is a Denys restaurant 3 minutes walk down the street. It was excellent. There is also a mall (Westfield South Center) nearby - 10 minute drive - with lots of big names restaurants and stores including an AMC theatre. The hotel is really off the beat and path. Not a great location. The front staff were humourless and dour. Not very helpful.

Great stay

I stayed here for a night when I was on a 2 week vacation. Nice 3 story hotel with 2 elevators. Front desk and AGM were very helpful. With their help and GPS I was able to find the places I wanted to go before I had to hit the road. If I would have flown out of Seattle this hotel would have been perfect because it is right across the street from the airport. (And you can't even hear anything) thanks

Sleepless in Seattle

We consider ourselves non demanding people who do not need much. Our expectations for this place were to get some sleep after two exhausting flights. I am not sure why not many reviewing this place never mentioned that it is impossible to sleep there for the paper thin walls, ceilings and doors. At 3 a.m. I could hear people walking upstairs( they woke up at 6 and started packing, all of which I also heard) someone giggling while returning to their room late, roadworks in the morning. It is an old building with what must be the wooden floors that not only carry sound, but also amplify it. Even my partner who isn't a light sleeper, woke up with upstairs people packing noise at 6 a.m. All this after our ordeal at the airport, when we called the hotel, asking for a shuttle pickup. When I told them where to pick us up, they should have immediately told us it was the wrong place, as the gate number I had given them did not have a letter after it(shuttle pickup place are numbered with letters to avoid confusion, for example 3 is pickup for cars/taxi, 3a is a shuttle pickup) How were we supposed to know this, groggy after a long flight, landing at 11 p.m. with no ground staff to ask, without any written notices in sight or a Red Roof hotel receptionist on the phone to steer us in the right direction? We found out the hard way, after waiting for nearly 40 minutes after asking a friendly bus driver. No apologies from the hotel staff when we finally arrived after midnight.

Awful from front desk to room

The two people working the front desk acted as if they could care less if you were there or not. Their bored attitude even came across when I called from my room to ask about the airport shuttle. It only got worse from there. What a dumpy old place. The room was clean enough to stay in, but one of the pillows had a footprint on it and the room just felt dusty. The hallways, elevator and vending areas feel dirty and old. Will never stay here again. $150 is ridiculous for a place like this.
