Our first night stay we couldn’t get a double room because we had booked through Priceline and you can’t pick the number of beds. So they gave us a king size bed room and this room was great. Everything was clean and fresh and the bathroom was obviously recently renovated. Then the next day they were nice enough to switch us to a room with double beds In a handicap accessible room. This bathroom was badly in need of an renovation. It was old and not really user-friendly if you were in a wheelchair since there was very little space to put anything on shelves and if you were actually in the shower area there was no where to put your supplies except on the floor if you were using the handicap chair. The first day I took a shower I did not know how the curtains worked in a bathroom like that so I flooded the bathroom floor. I grabbed some towels to wipe it up and the towels were black and filthy by the time I was done. There was mold in the shower and it just had an overall old, dated and unclean appearance to it. Though it wasn’t a problem for us, if you didn’t have a car, it is not located in a convenient location because there is nothing within walking distance around the area. That’s not the hotels fault, it’s just an observation. So if you’re staying in a room that is not handicap assessable, by our experience in the king size bedroom they gave us, it was great. Just stay away from the handicap accessible rooms.

Worst run hotel ever. My mother in law sent us Sharies Berries as a surprise to the room. The box was marked as perishable in multiple spots. We weren't notified of a package being there for us and they claimed they called the room and left a message (which didn't happen), how hard is it to put a note on the door or slide one under the door? How about calling the cell phone number we checked in with which was clearly printed on my receipt? They sat on the front desk for over 24 hours and spoiled the only reason we knew we had a package was my mother in law called and asked how we liked them and then we tracked the package down. The manager Eric screamed at my wife and talked down to her. What a way to ruin a nice surprise and treat people who were taking a nice vacation without their 4 kids for the first time ever. All 3 of the staff members were verbally abusive to my poor 100 pound wife and demeaning! None of them said sorry and Eric lied and said he didn't have a chance to say sorry when southwest airlines called. This isn't true all 3 people involved saw us come and go at least 3 different times. I hope one of the 4 people in the lobby recorded this verbal abuse on their phone a post it. Talking to a person like they did is unacceptable and Im sure they would be upset if someone talked to their mother or sister in this manner. My wife was crying and upset when she came back to the room. The manner in which he talked to me when i asked why he screamed at my wife was much different which only leads me to believe he is a womanizing horrible person. Never one apology and a ruined trip. One bright point is the night desk woman was amazing and always said hello when we walked in and recommended places to eat. The cleaning staff was spot on and very friendly. I would stay very far away from this place.

My wife and I have stayed here several days each March since 2010. The location is great, you can get to the airport in 10 minutes and overall the place is very nice but could use some updates in their bathrooms. We stayed there last week from March 16 to 22. We checked in on Friday and I realized I had screwed up my reservation by booking a double room instead of a king. I went down to the desk to see if I could change but realized that on a busy weekend it probably wouldn't be possible until Sunday. A young lady named Chantel was most helpful. She set it up for me to move as soon as a king was available Sunday morning. Saturday night at around 2:30 in the morning to a loud dripping notice in the bathroom. The floor was wet and the dripping appeared to be coming from above and hitting the showerhead. We had already noticed water problems in the bathroom because the door was hard to close due to the doorframe being cracked from water damage. I went to the desk and was surprised to find Chantel still there. Due to a cancelation she had another double available to move us in for the rest of the night. We only moved a few things and I moved the rest of our things Sunday morning. I went to the desk and found that Chantel had left detailed information with Cynthia and we got our king room before noon. All 3 of the rooms we were in could use some work in the bathrooms. The only other complaint I have is the one I make every year. No Golf Channel. Phoenix is a golf destination. I've been told this is a corporate decision. I usually receive a survey within a day after checking out but none this year.

Tub cracked and water leaked in bathroom. For $150 plus, expected more. Beds were ok but not great. Overall, hotel needs to be upgraded. Close to airport Didn’t stay for breakfast so cannot comment. No airport shuttle

Stayed here for one night, making my way back from the Grand Canyon and over to Tempe for a business trip that began on Monday 3/13. I would not stay at this hotel again for the poor quality of the room (smoke smell) and the customer service. I arrived at the hotel and checked in to room 318 on the 3rd floor with no problem. I was explicitly told that the hotel was a 100% non-smoking hotel by the man working the front desk, Rolan. Additionally, there are a few large signs that claim 100% non-smoking hotel. Of course, people disobey the rules. My first red flag was when I walked into my room. The window was open and the AC was on full fan at 62 degrees. I closed the window, and turned down the fan, turned up the temp to about 68 degrees. Unrelated to this, but another red flag was when they sent a couple who checked in after me to a room that was apparently occupied. I left for dinner around 7 PM that night and returned around 915 PM. Everything in the room is still OK to this point. Went to bed and woke up around 5 AM to a horrid smoke smell in the room - as if someone was smoking right outside my door or in my room. Note - the designated outdoor smoking area was below the window of my room and about 10 yards to the right of the room. Close enough to maybe get a whiff of smoke, but not close enough for the strength of the smell to infiltrate the room the way it did - plus the window was closed and the AC was on low. I tried to shake it off around 5 AM and go back to sleep, but sleep evaded me and the smell was terrible. Around 730 AM I went to the front desk to complain and Antoinette let me know she would bring it up to the manager when he got in at 9. I said Thanks and went back to my room to get some work done. The smell was so bad that it was as if someone had just smoked in my room. I do not smoke cigarettes. At about 915, I spoke with the manager Eric and he said he would see what he could do. He said my room was one of the rooms he checked the day before for smoke and also claimed that he would not rent a room if it smelled like smoke. I said thank you and waited for an update from him. I also let him know that the window of the room was open and the AC was on high when I first arrived. He claimed that because it didn't smell when I arrived, there was no reason it should smell the next morning. About an hour later, around 10 AM, Eric and another employee asked for permission to enter my room and detect the smell. I was already told by Eric that some people don't follow the rules and that he "didn't want to imply anything, but the room shouldn't smell." Eric walked into the room and said "Oh, it smells like someone just lit one up in here." And I replied, "Yes, it smells terrible." Then, Eric said, more than once!, "I'm not trying to imply anything, but the room wouldn't smell like that unless someone had just lit up a cigarette in here." I said, "OK, sir, but I do not smoke and I did not smoke a cigarette in this room." He then said it was out of his hands and up to his supervisor if there was anything we could do about it. I said thanks for coming to check the room, I appreciate it and that I would be waiting to hear from him. About a half hour later, I received a call on the hotel phone from Eric stating that the supervisor was willing to refund me $20 (about 16% of the rate I paid for the night). At this point, I had about a half hour before check out and needed to make it to my office in Tempe. I asked if that was all and Eric repeated the same line to me ad nauseum "I'm not trying to imply it was you, but..." He also claimed that if I had said something to them right away at 5 AM, they would have been able to maybe do something about it ilke change my room. (who wants to change their room at 5 AM when they are checking out that day? And if that was the case, why wasn't I offered a change of room at 730 AM, or 9 AM, as the smell persisted throughout the day.) Honestly, how stupid would I have to be to smoke a cigarette in my room and then complain that my room reeked of cigarette smoke? Basically, in my opinion, Eric was really saying I'm trying to make you feel like I believe you, but I don't believe you, and we're not going to stand by our policies because we think you're lying. I repeat, Would not stay here again.
