Wish I could disagree with the bad reviews posted previously by others, but I can’t. Adrian at the front desk was the only high point of our stay, and the only reason i give them two stars. He was kind and helpful. Now for the rest. It is an old, tired, worn hotel. My bed was not comfortable; one pillowcase was stained and two of four pillowcases were missing. The exercise room was closed the entire length of our stay. The faucet on the sink was loose and just hanging on because of the flexible tubing; when I pointed this out to a young man who brought the pillowcases to the room he promised that he would report it, but it was not fixed while we were there. The luggage cart is on its last leg (wheel), leans precariously, and looks like it may have been run over in the parking lot. Cleaning is surface only; I opened the bedside drawer and found what looked like shreds of tobacco in a non-smoking room. Other drawers were also dirty. The desk chair upholstery was torn open. On our second night when I called down that the commode was stopped up, I was told I could come down and get a plunger. I’m sure I have forgotten some things, but isn’t this enough? Really, there are many other hotels in the area. Stay at one of them. I wish we had.

Let me start by saying we had a great experience last year with a Red Roof Inn elsewhere, and their pet policy is a major plus when traveling with our 60 lb dog. This location: Positives: HOT showers, COLD AC, and VERY polite night staff (the only ones I interacted with). Negatives: - Arrived around 11:30 pm, complete check in, and proceed to room. Elevator doesn’t want to work. Let’s me in. It won’t go anywhere. Turns out it doesn’t close fully on the 1st floor and needs a slight push to get it the last inch or two, but this is best done from the exterior so... stairs. Second floor hall has a very odd odor. Get to room. Key card doesn’t work. Back I go. Staff corrects the card. Elevator works on second attempt. Return to room. Wow. Bed is nasty. Comforter in a chair. Trash can full. Trash on floor and counter. Back to the desk I go. They’re willing to give a refund or try another room. I already had a different hotel issue while making my six hour drive to town (reservation apparently didn’t actually reserve a room elsewhere...) so I just want a room. One goes to making the change while the other employee goes to check the new room. They get me situated and are extremely polite and apologetic throughout all of these issues. They were also trying to work with another family that weren’t the easiest of situations, and were very professional and accommodating. So anyway, I get to the second room. After my elevator “will it or won’t it” work moments. It’s about 50/50, by the way. Third floor. Even more odd of an odor. Seriously. And you can tell they’ve tried to mask it with something but it hasn’t worked. Proceed to room. This room was clean as it should be. Thankfully. Found that the AC was extremely cold and the showers were as hot as you want. But the bathroom clearly had a smell of cigarette smoke, but not recent or fresh. As if it had been a smoking room and when they renovated, they didn’t get rid of the smell but painted over the smoke scented walls. It’s not strong, but it’s noticeable. And the mini fridge in this room didn’t work; not an issue for me on this stay but something more of note that I told the staff of upon checkout. Tried a different outlet within reach and tried changing the setting. Nope. Doesn’t work. Not a surprise. Checking out after two nights, elevator doesn’t want to work so down the stairs (really, about 50/50 whether it’ll work). Same night staff as I’m leaving early. Polite as always. They know the flaws and don’t seem surprised by some of it, but obviously not within their powers to handle most of such. Funny enough, apparently their computer system had been frozen for a bit and unable as of yet to get it working yet so she asked for an email to send my requested receipt. While standing there, the elevator doors continued to open. And close. And open. And close. And so on for several minutes that I was at the desk. Of course. And I did indeed receive my receipt a short while later, as promised. Great employees but the facility itself is pitiful. It’s a place to sleep and nothing more. I booked at a discounted rate. Had I paid regular price, I would have asked for a refund and tried elsewhere. Pictures are of the first room when I entered.

I was immediately surprised about the instant attentive service I got right when I walked in. Zoe at the front desk was very sweet and attended and answered anything I asked and the maintenance Michael was very kind asking if there was any problems all I had to do was just ask for him and he would help me out. Thanks for a great first impression. Definitely they instantly sold me on staying here! I'll tell all my friends when I get back home from vacationing to come here.

Happy we chose this place everyone was so friendly ,we came in for our sons air Force graduation .We enjoyed our room very spacious ,clean and comfortable beds ,houskeeping kept our room clean and fresh .girls at front desk are always smiling and very helpful .coming back this summer to defentily stay here . Up
