Wouldn’t stay again

We pulled in late and needed a room off the highway. At first impression, we thought we were going to be happy. Well got our room and when we first went in it had a weird smell. Thought maybe it was the fact the room was warm and needed to pull out humidity. Well the a/c took hours too cool the room down. Other issues! Something slippery on the floor, my husband is disabled and almost slipped. There was dirt and cobwebs in the corner of the room. The dresser had something splattered on it. The Desk lamp was all rusted on the base. My husband told me to not look at the corners in the bathroom, hard to miss! Dirty and cobwebs there also. 2 of the smallest, roughest towels I have ever used. Beds were decent but was woke up due to freeway noise (desk clerk told us we wouldn’t hear it), someone that had wheels on their luggage and didn’t care how loud it was, and the house cleaner almost opened our door until she heard me, around 8ish! This room is maybe a $50 room! No breakfast and the WiFi wouldn’t connect!

Room had lots of dog hair

I will start with the pro's: Good location. Price is good. I felt safe here. Room is decorated nicely. Staff is friendly. The management did work with me when I filled out a satisfaction survey they sent, so I am pleased with how they handled my complaint. The con's: I arrived at about 1245pm to check in at 1pm. She had to make sure a room was ready. I placed a note on my reservation that I wanted an "extra clean" room because the last time I stayed here it was not as clean as I would have liked it. She gave me extra towels. I proceeded to my room. The sink had human hairs and makeup in it, making me wonder what else might have been overlooked in the cleaning process. I asked a housekeeper outside to clean it and she was very nice and did so. I left the room and came back a few hours later to pull back the covers and find hair all over them. I called to ask for a room change and was told there were no rooms on the 1st floor available (no elevators for the 2nd floor.) I was kind of questioned as to my time of check in, like why was I calling about the hair a few hours after check in, which I found odd. So I came up with the solution of having someone change my sheets. That housekeeper came right away, said she personally changed them this morning and that there were just too many dogs staying there that the hair gets everywhere.

One beautiful spot

This is a great stay, just off the Interstate, east of Cleveland. I t is on a large property, surrounded by tall, mature trees. It is like an oasis, in the middle of busy travelling. The property consists of two double wide, two storey buildings, with the office, and lobby located in the front of the first one. Besides the tall trees, there are smaller ones, and bushes planted in bed, along the sides of the buildings When I checked in, Jennifer had me assigned, and checked in promptly, and later, Ann carried on the friendly, helpful assistance. My ground floor king was a drive-up room, and was quite spacious, and allowed for a king bed, work station, three drawer console, with flat screen TV on top, easy chair, mini fridge & micro, and a sink counter, outside the bathroom. The room was tastefully decorated, and had all modern fixtures. While there is no breakfast area, there a number of restaurants nearby. Ken, the Manager, directed me to a really good, nearby restaurant, for dinner. I sure appreciated the tranquility of the trees, and greenery, and there were benches, where you could sit, and enjoy it,and it came complete with doggy pick-up stations. I will stay here again, and suggest that fellow travellers give it a try.....Jerry....Paris....Ontario....Canada

Great Front Desk Staff!

When arriving at this hotel we received a very nice welcome! We reserved three rooms all of which were placed together which was great! Our room was clean with no problems. One of the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke and when we approached the desk with our concern (100% smoke free facility) they had no problems relocating us to another room. The reason for my three star rating in that our room was never cleaned the next day. Housekeeping knocked on our door before we left for the day and never returned. It isn't that big of a deal I guess other than I had to go to the front desk and ask for clean towels. Again, front desk did great and gave us the towels and water bottles for the inconvenience. I would stay again if in the area!

One of the best Red Roof Inns that we have visited.

We have stayed in numerous Red Roof Inns across the U.S. since we travel with a dog and the rates are good for our 1 night stays. This was one of the best that we have come across. It was renovated, clean and quiet and the staff were good! Would definitely recommend it.
