Great service easy access to freeway clean rooms nice customer service good food close by an I will come back anytime I recommend this hotel to all who visit Illinois you will not be disappointed I was very pleased

The staff here is much better and place is also nice, review I have read earlier we're not believable because not everything is good- the front desk guy meet was nice friendly and even rooms were clean you can surely go for it!

Service provided was excellent and the gentleman at the desk name meet was very helpful. Great place to stay. If you are looking for a nice and clean environment visit red roof in Lansing any shift you will find absolutely great service.

I've stayed in Red Roof Inns before but this.. this was the worst. When looking at management photos online, you'd think that everything is great. I went ahead and booked a room for 3 nights. We pulled up to the property to see people in slippers and robes, walking dogs. I went into the office to check-in and overheard one of the staff being extremely rude to another guest. She immediately snapped back and asked for a refund. That should have been my 1st red flag. Our room was on the 2nd floor. The stairs leading that way looked like they were rotted out. Red flag #2 We walked into the room and began our routine inspection. The security lock on the door was missing, the leather club chair looked like it had been clawed at by animals, a cigarette burn in the blanket, a pencil mark on the sheets, rumpled pillows, sticky floor, wet mildew smell, unplugged alarm clock, black paint stain on a towel, dirt buildup in the shower corner, holes in the wall, hanging corner guard, flies in the room.. need I continue. My family and I were horrified! I know you get what you pay for but I've had better for a cheaper price. I called the office to express all of my concerns. They placed me on hold. I decided to walk down to the office. I waited 10 minutes to speak with someone. A man named Jake said that they didn't have any other rooms but I could come back in the morning and speak with someone. Really?? When I began to ask questions about the refund process, he dismissed me and gave me a blank stare, like I was being unreasonable. I told him that having no security lock on the door was dangerous and that the room was unacceptable. He again looked at me, without a care in the world and told me to come back in the morning to speak with someone. I called their corporate office to make a complaint after that. We had no choice but to stay at this establishment for the night, being that I could not get me refund asap. I grabbed our emergency blanket and a picnic blanket from the car and covered the beds. We couldn't sleep for all the activity outside the door. Random people walking by, shadows in front of the window, arguing coming from the room under us, etc I walked into the office at 7am the very next morning and started to voice my concerns with the young lady behind the counter. She looked zoned out. She entered the refund into the system and handed me a receipt without saying a single word. No "I'm sorry about that ma'am" No "Let me recommend another hotel" No "We take our guests concerns very serious" No words came out of her mouth. I finally received my refund 2 days later. I'll never stay at another Red Roof Inn.

I had a wonderful stay at the Red Roof inn in Lansing. Apon arrival I was greeted by the front desk women who were very pleasant. I was checked into my room right away. My room was great, very nice and clean. I definitely recommend this motel if you are in town for a few nights.
