Not Pet Friendly As Advertised

This hotel is listed as pet friendly, yet after leaving town I was hit with a surprise charge on my deposit card because there was “too much” fur in the room. I have never been charged a “fur fee” by any hotel, including other Red Roofs in the past. Seems they are looking for a way to make some extra money on the side because with COVID cleaning procedures they should be wiping down the room and changing all bedding after each guest regardless.


We were told at check in there would be no housekeeping service during our 4 day stay due to COVID. This is a pet friendly hotel. After check out they charged my credit card $100 because dog hair was on the hardwood floor. It was a 4 day accumulation. She was not in furniture or bed. Only floor. All they had to do was sweep. I took out my own trash everyday and swapped dirty towels myself and didn’t ask for a rate reduction. Now they take $100 because they wouldn’t provide a necessary service. Outrageous. Tried to call hotel several times. All lines take you to central reservation and long hold times. Not how I want to spend what’s left of vacation.

Decent rooms right on the strip

I had two almost teenage boys with me. The room with three queen beds was perfect! And it is right in the main part of the strip so we could walk most places. The free breakfast at the restaurant next door was delicious too!

A place to lay your head

First off I am a member of the rewards program and was supposed to get 25% off the room but didn't got there and right off my Pekingese started get black all over his feet and hair from the parking lot, the pet area had poop all over apparently no one picks up over their pet so be careful there. In the room no better had a musky smell, the commode had to be held down for awhile to even flush, the tub didn't have a stopper in it so my beautiful baby I couldn't even bathe after having to spend $30 in pet shampoo on vacation and on our 31st anniversary. The beds are horrible made our back kill us and after all this get home to find out that we were charged more than the email or they told us. Called them and was told we were charged for asking for 1st floor when we were already charged that price for a first floor room with a discount so look out for charges that they just spring on you after staying there several times and this is the treatment we get I will get another hotel or cabin there is plenty in that location that will probably have better and care about customer service. side note once there they charge a $100 deposit that you will not be told about until check in

Bare minimum

First the good, the location is great and the breakfast next door was good. The check in clerk was efficient but dressed very unprofessional. The room was basic but clean. It was missing light bulbs in the lamps. I called the front desk and was told that she did not have a key to get any. The bathtub did not have a stopper and the faucet was almost pulled out of the wall. I will not stay again.
