Had a long layover in Miami so decided to get a room to pass time. Took 45 mins for shuttle to get to airport pick up. At first I thought maybe it was because there was a long drive to hotel but it was only about a 5 min drive so I don’t understand what the long wait was for. I called the hotel 5x to get info about shuttle and got hung up in 4/5 times I called. It was pretty frustrating. Cleanliness of room could have.better. Hand towels had yellow stains on them and there was a long Black hair on toilet seat when we first got there. Didn’t complain since we only stayed for few hours to sleep. Not sure if we will return based off this experience. Glad price was decent.

Chose this hotel for the free shuttle to the Port. It was a very basic hotel, could use a good update. On the rougher side but served the purpose which was just to sleep. They don't mention that the shuttle for the Port can be super early. We were scheduled for a 8:30am shuttle and couldn't board until 12:30. We weren't told our shuttle time until after 10:30 via email the night before, which we were sleeping at the time of the email. We missed our 8:30 shuttle. The gentleman at the reservations desk was kind enough to find us a seat on another shuttle. Overall this hotel served the purpose but definitely don't have high expectations. It's dirty and run down.

Waited 55 minutes for Van pickup. Had to take a taxi. No bath towels in the room. Told I could go to front desk to get them. What Service! Hallway carpets as well as elevator were filthy. People at the front desk as well as snack bar were absolutely rude and incompetent. Avoid this lousy hotel at all cost!

We arrived here on January 24 and had 2 rooms reserved.We stayed in room 140 and my friends stayed on the 3rd floor (cant remember the room number)Anyways,The rooms were nice and well maintained.All hardwood floors and newly appointed linens.This hotel is very clean and close to the airport.They have a shuttle service to the dolphin Mall which is $10.00 per person and complimentary shuttle to and from the airport.Now,The title of my review is Sabrina is top notch and here is why.When we arrived at the airport at about 7 pm we got our luggage and called the hotel for pick up.Sabrina said that the driver was on his way and would be there shortly.Over an hour goes by and still no driver.We called the hotel again and told them about this and Sabrina apologized for the inconvenience and said that the driver was supposed to be there.Approximatly 25 minutes from the second phone call,The shuttle finally arrives.Keep in mind,That makes an hour and a half that we waited. I had my 93 year old Dad in a wheelchair and my other friend who recently had knee surgery on crutches.The drivers name was Danny and he never apologized for being late or anything and was actually acting very strange and unfriendly.He did get us along with 4 other guests to the hotel. I went to check in and Sabrina checked us in and very polite and professional in the whole check in process did not stop apologizing for the inconvenience. I had my friends and Dad sitting over in the distance in the lobby and happened to notice,That the driver (Danny)was holding my dads suitcase separate from everyone else. I told him that is our suitcase and we will take it.Dannys reply (NO TIP?!?!!). I said no and he told me to go—-myself. I reported this to Sabrina and she also told me that they have been getting a lot of complaints on him. I don’t fault the hotel for one individual,But this was unbelievable and unacceptable and this person needs to be terminated.Sabrina helped us both days of our stay and made sure that we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable.She always smiles and said hello and made us feel at home and took excellent care of me and my friends and my Dad. I had notified the General Manager about this incident as well. I will hope that they took the appropriate action and that no one on their hotel shuttle has to go through this type of incident again

If only I could give a minus rating. Avoid this hotel like the plague.

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many all over the world. When we arrived we were asked to pay again even though we had paid to our agent in the UK it took a lot of insistence on my part to convince the desk clerk we had paid. That was just the start whilst we were waiting to check in I needed to go to the toilet so I went to the bathroom in the lobby when I did I noticed what I thought to be human excrement on the wall thinking to myself "dirty sods" but I thought OK the cleaner will get that how wrong I was, almost 24 hours later when I used the bathroom again this time to get changed prior to catching the shuttle back to the airport the dirt was still on the wall as the shuttle was waiting and I needed to repack my bags we just left. I did take photographs of the wall to show to our agent in the UK to recommend they did not send anyone else there. One elevator did not work so we walked along a very dirty corridor to another elevator which was scratched on the aluminium walls with graffiti, the room was acceptable other than a small area of black mould above the shower-head. the hotel was quiet so we slept quite well. When I showed the photos to our agent in the UK she suggested I put it in writing and she would send it to their supplier. I put all my comments in an email which was sent to the hotel, their reply was very interesting they did not deny it was human excrement but suggested I had taken the photos somewhere else and claimed it was in their hotel, as the photos were taken with a mobile phone there are details of where and when the photos were taken to prove that I was telling the truth. Another email was sent with this evidence in which I asked for a written apology for calling me a liar, I have received a reply which say "Again apologies for any inconvenience" why they would say again surprises me because they didn't apologise in their first email only suggested that the pictures were not in their hotel and it would appear I am not getting an apology for the slur on my character, they also say I should have reported it whilst I was there, with hindsight maybe I should have done but I probably would have missed the shuttle to the airport as the driver was not the most communicative or friendly. The hotel does not have a restaurant only a very expensive shop we were told there are no restaurants within walking distance and some fiends of ours who live in the states and previously worked near this hotel advised us it was not a safe area to walk alone at night so we didn't go out. This website requires a rating so I have to give a 1 but as I said in the heading I would like to give a minus. This hotel apparently has a 2-star rating but not 2-star prices during our stay in the US we stayed at another hotel which was a 3-star so much better for less with a free hot cooked breakfast.
