This is an overpriced nasty hotel. It was filthy especially in the common areas. One of the employees told us she was looking for another job because it's so dirty. For $200 a night I expected better we didn't leave because I booked a non refundable reservation. The bed was at least clean but the floors were sticky lucky for us we just needed to sleep on night. I wouldn't let my dog stay there because he deserves better.

Since i been in the hotel front desk shakeia and tim have had the best customer service shakeia always have a positive attitude customer service is outstanding. I will recommend the res roof to anyone that stays in the st. Petersburg tampa bay area.. If they ask tell them charles sent you

Ok so my room isn't great and has some damage which looks like a big dog clawed the bathroom door frames up and toilet seat, there were other problems however Joe the manager was so nice to me and helped get my terrified kitty from behind the bed where she was stuck trying to hide and the fact she didn't bite him is quite telling and proves he is a good person or my cat would have caused bloodshed Lol, I cannot say enough about how great and efficient the staff are,including Carlos and Mike who take care of maintenance and the grounds. The front desk staff like Cassandra, Shakei,Tim,Stephanie, Lisa and the Manager Joe is always doing things like painting the building, cutting trees,he is doing his best to improve things ,he doesn't just sit in his office, he is very personable just as much as his staff, I am 100 percent sure he will improve things, so I definitely would recommend this hotel as you will be treated with respect and the staff go above and beyond to please you. I have been at this location since December 10th and the first staff member I met was Shakei Hamilton and when she came to my door for some reason which escapes me at the moment,I was crying not knowing what would happen to my kitty and after 5 years of dealing with an angry alcoholic private landlord who instead of fixing my caving in floor, decided it would be fun to evict me for the holidays and illegally I add,Ms Shakei was so kind to me was genuinely concerned for me and tried to find help for me which isn't part of her job,she is always on top of everything and very quick to bring towels etc. As I am disabled and cannot walk to the lobby, she is very professional in and I see how well she does multiple jobs here, I was suprised she had only been here 8 months, she is so personable and still professional, she literally runs around here doing laundry,front desk and times here alone,such as today. Tim also is wonderful and Stephanie, I don't know their last but they are very nice to me. I must be honest about the room which had some pretty bad problems however the manager Joe is very nice and when my special needs kitty was terrified with being in a strange place became wedged somewhere behind the bed Joe and the sweet maintenance man lifted up the bed and got my kitty out,Joe is so nice and I see how hard he works, he paints the place, and I hear from staff "Joe is fixing something etc or breaking up arguments from other guest and in my case asking the former guest above me to please stop hitting the floor which made it very difficult to sleep. When we arrived we had to wait as the desk clerk was out of the office. I asked if the room was clean and was told their best housekeeper just cleaned it that morning. When we got into the room there were cobwebs with black stuff in them and there was hair in the bathtub which was easily visible. There were streetwalkers walking up and down the street in front of the hotel. We left for a couple of hours and when we came back we did not feel safe, so we left. I wrote to the company and they followed-up with a telephone call where I explained everything. Their response was an email basically stating sorry for your experience. But they still charged us for the room even though we did not stay night.
