Staff was very friendly and helpful on arrival. I stayed 1 night overall cleanliness was good. However they need a better exterminator as I found two unwelcome visitors, I do understand Florida and with the cold snap they're going to look for a warm place.

Clean room but incompetent and/or dishonest management - beware

We (middle-aged professional couple from England) booked two nights in Dec in a superior room. On arrival, we found the staff friendly and another guest who was smoking in the hotel was politely but firmly told not to do so. However, our room door wouldn't open so we were assigned another room. There was only one towel and the staff said they were still doing the laundry, so we had to wait 4 hours before we could shower, despite being dirty and grimy from a long drive and time spent on the beach. At 1am, we were awoken when someone opened our door and walked into our room. When we yelled at him to get out, he did, but the same thing happened at 3am (though this time we had set the latch).These were terrifying experiences . It turned out that they had given our room to someone else, not having registered our change of room on their computer. We checked out the next day, staying one night rather than two. The assistant manager was apologetic, promised we had only been charged one night and assured us that she would refund that night so we would pay nothing. Ten days later, on checking my card, I discovered we had been charged up front for both nights (plus a foreign exchange fee, charged by my credit card company) and nothing had been refunded. I emailed the hotel and the manager Dawn apologised by return, and claimed that one night had been refunded and the second night would now be refunded, sending me an internal document to this effect. Several days later, nothing has been refunded and I will have to take it up with my credit card company under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 section 75. Apart from the incompetence and/or dishonesty of the management and the missing towel (a serious problem), the room was clean, everything inside worked and there was a radio/light with two free USB sockets for charging phones, a nice touch. They promise free wifi but the signal is too weak. Outside room number 1 (which we couldn't even enter) there was no signal. In room number 2, there was a wifi signal but it was too weak to use. If we stood in the doorway, we could surf the Internet (slowly) but anywhere else we couldn't. This was not an enjoyable experience and we would not recommend this hotel.

If you want to stay somewhere that has nice people, where your actually appreciated as a customer. This is the place! My room was very clean. Beds extremely comfortable. Updated bathroom area. EVERY single staff member was more than helpful.Just a great place where I did not have one bad experience or issue. cleaning staff never gave me the stink eye when asking for towels,new sheets or soap like some other places. Lisa,sara & melvin took care of all my guest services needs. You will be pleased to have any of them take care of you too. Maintenance was also a huge help to me. Anything I asked for or needed from them they provided for me within minutes. Anthony made sure to say hi to me everyday. I don't think I seen one person from the maintenance crew sit down take a break or stand around one time they were busy busy busy the entire time but still took the time for me. I can't say enough about the awesome front desk girls and 3 gentlemen. Robyn and Kia were ALWAYS on point and such a pleasure to talk to. Big thanks to Dawn the hotels manager for running her hotel like a well oiled machine. She really cares if your stay was the best it could be.

I'm not sure of his name .. I believe it was Tony or Anthony.. but he was very polite and helpful. He saw me struggling with my luggage and helped me to my car ... Very respectful.. I would visit again

This is a great place to stay. Shakeia the front desk person is very helpfull friendly and a wonderfull employee. Also on the maintenance crew anthony is a wonderfull young man who is very helpfull anytime i need anything thanks to the housekeeping staff marvin and stephanie who have been most helpfull since the day i arrived
