BED BUGS, BED BUGS, AND MORE BUGS!!! There is also a ton of mold in the bathrooms. I was in room 308. I had to scrub the mold out of the shower and recaulk it myself. When I told management about the weird smell and our hives, we tried to switch rooms but it turns out, I had the best one already! 🤢 When the hives got worse and I looked into what it could be, I found out about bed bugs. They emit a pheromone that smells like the odor I was complaining about and they bite all night and hide all day. So I took the bedding off and bedskirts and BAM! Little bugs everywhere!!! I saved them and gave them to the health department. Originally, I gave them to Heather the manager at Red Roof and demanded a refund. She called in Guardian Pest Control who lied and said there wasn't even one bug of any kind in the entire building!!!! Heather refused to even partially refund my $2,000. Please see pics!!! THIS IS A NEW REVIEW. THIS MOTEL USED TO BE NICE. IT IS VERY UNKEPT WITH POOR MANAGEMENT. DISGUSTING. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BED BUGS.

Amazing quality/service for this price

We had chosen this location pure on budget reason but were very positievly surprised. Not only was the staff very nice and helpful (Thanks Stacy) but also the room was very nice and clean. There are plenty of opportunities to eat withing short distance and during our entire 5 week roadtrip the price/quality service ration we got remained unbeaten.

Previous good experience. Problem this time.

Stayed here previously and found it to be a great value. That experience was so good that I didn't even bother checking with other facilities on this trip. This time, there was a problem. Checked in around 3PM with Clarinda who was an outstanding person. Friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Left for the evening without going to room. Got to room just before 11PM. Found that bedding appeared not to have been changed although the bed was made up. Hair and "stains" on sheets. Notified desk and he said he'd take care of it. 30 minutes later, no show. Called again and got a different guy that had just come on. The one who took my original call had not told him anything about it. The new guy Travis came up quickly with new bedding and was trying to hand it to me. I showed him in instead and he took a long time making the bed, all the while explaining that he'd never made a bed before. After all, he only appeared to be in his early 20's. Ya, he was the desk guy and not housekeeping, but really? While showering before bed, noted that there was hair on the walls above the tub surround and that the horizontal seams in the surround were not well cleaned and were growing a reddish colored material. Reported problems to manager Heather the next morning and she said she would follow through with the housekeeping and the first evening desk guy. She also offered reasonable restitution for the stay. I may give this place one more shot since the first encounter was so good and in the hope that they just have one really lazy housekeeper. I would hope that cleaning supervisors would do more training with that person and follow up with after cleaning inspections on a regular basis. Before staying again, I would request that the manager do a personal inspection of my assigned room to make 100% sure it is up to standards. Guaranteed that my next stay would be my last stay at any Red Roof property if there is even a hint of a problem.

Lovely and Comfy

My sister and I stayed here one night. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and the kitchenette was nice to have. The only drawback was the lack of a breakfast of some kind. They had a bag type breakfast for an extra fee but it wasn't worth it.

Comfortable Room

We stayed here 2 days. Lots of rail and oil workers but everybody's in bed at about 9 pm because they're all up and going to work 6 am. No breakfast here. Restaurants are a few minutes drive away for both dinner & breakfast. Front desk staff wasn't particular welcoming, but then again they've got nothing extra to woo you with - just a reasonable room. I might stay here again - there wasn't anything bad to keep me away.
