So many things went wrong that it is hard to pinpoint one item. Would never recommend Red Roof to anyone. Muddy areas around the outside. Doors were not tight with gaps all around. Not much about this place, impressed me or my family.

Nice and Clean Room

The Property was fully renovated and nice and clean. I will prefer to stay here on my way back to home. It was amazing stay for $58.00 plus tax. everything in the room was like new and when I front desk person he said it was just renovated. The bed was comfortable and everything was easy and convince.

What an embarrassment to the Red Roof brand.

I checked in today at 2pm after reserving a room a month in advance. I pulled in after driving 10 hours and went inside to check in. The owner asked for my name and confirmation and said I was all set and I swiped my credit card. He told me that check in was at 3pm and he would have to charge me for an early check in. I was a bit surprised as there was only one other car in the parking lot. Although I thought this was petty, I left to go get something to eat. When I got back to my truck, I thought about it and went back inside to tell him that I thought he was being unreasonable. I understand policy but, NO ONE was there. He went off the handle and started calling me red blooded and other insults I couldn’t comprehend. I told him calmly to cancel my reservation and he went ballistic, telling me that he was charging my credit card but he wasnt going to let me stay there. I left again to go outside to look at my reservation confirmation info on my phone and found out that I could cancel before 4 pm on the scheduled date. He then boasted again about how he was going to charge my credit card anyway. I stayed in the lobby and called the National reservations number to cancel my stay and explain to her what the owner was doing. She immediately. canceled my reservation and voluntarily connected me to the corporate office. They were all apologetic for the reputation this owner was putting on their brand. I’m guessing this will no longer be a Red Roof franchise. Beware everyone, all the complaints and bad reviews are true.

Attention Staff: You need to learn to pay attention to details and put the guests first

You know I tried really hard to like this place I did. The rooms actually looked to be fairly decent and look to have been remodeled recently. For me it was the attention to details that aren't being attended to. Spider webs and bugs in the corners of the rooms. I was assigned room 111 just to get in there and the heat doesn't work at all. Had maintenance come out 4 times to try and get it working but they couldn't so I had to switch to a smaller room. I originally booked an Accessible room with roll-in shower. I went to leave for some snacks and got locked out because the key for the room they swapped me into didn't work. I got up to the front desk and a lady emerges with her child at the front desk. I explained to her about what happened and mentioned that I asked for an accessible room. She handed me my room key back and seemed uninterested about my request. I want what I paid for so Red Roof Inn you allow this franchise owner to do what they want and operate doing whatever they want. I thought the brand was better than this. If I told you I was expecting something I expect that and nothing less. That room you swapped me into might have had a new HVAC unit but that think popped and crackled all night. Might wanna check that too! Also YOUR TV's and cable whatever you have rigged up... DOESN'T WORK but for about 3-4 channels the rest have lines and static going all through them. If you are gonna have a TV and the ones you all have are really tiny... At least have them working properly. I got so frustrated I turned it off and went to bed and was annoyed by all the water splashing on the ground. What's up with your drainage systems and the parking lot. You have that snow on the ground how come no one is shoveling that? Your staff seemed to be pretty nice but unhelpful to be quite honest. Not sure what you expect here. I asked multiple times for the room type I reserved. Not what you gave me. I want compensation for this unpleasant experience.

A once somewhat run down property has been renovated and restored to a nice and clean and comfortable place to stay and at a bargain price! New Hardwood Floors (no bacteria & dirt accumulating carpet) freshly painted walls/woodwork/doors, new sinks and commodes, lot's of light, lamps with double electrical sockets for gadgets/recharging, big desk for work with a hieght udjusting desk chair makes for a great economy stay over especially suited for business travel (or Staunton Miniature Speedway Hobby Shop travel/visit)! Not fancy by any strech (no pictures on walls, but super duper clean, comfortable and functional! Will be staying there again! (Best to book on-line for best rate!)
