In 2023, we introduced our bulk dispenser amenities program with Green Suites Hotel Solutions®. The adoption of bulk amenity programs across the hospitality industry has marked a key shift toward supporting environmentally friendly programming without sacrificing the guest experience.

As of December 2025, we have 27,750 guestrooms participating in the program — a 42% increase in program enrollment compared to December 2024. This program enhances the guest experience and significantly reduces waste sent to local landfills.

In Q1 of 2025, Red Roof launched a branded, compostable lobby and guestroom coffee cup program. This initiative is designed to reduce single-use plastic and paper waste while promoting environmental responsibility.

We have partnered with RDI Global Hospitality Solutions to produce cups made with FSC-certified paper and a water-based, environmentally friendly coating. It can be processed in standard recycling facilities and decomposes easily.

As of the end of 2025, over 1,700 cases of compostable cups have been purchased by our franchised locations. With this initiative, Red Roof properties have prevented 861,000 Styrofoam cups from being sent to landfills. Together, guests and our properties are making an impact.

23Threads is a new manufacturing partner that offers sustainable linens and shower curtains. This competitively priced option is entirely produced using 100% recycled materials. Providing this option to our franchisees allows them to have a positive environmental impact with minimal investment and work on their part.

The 23Threads’ product is an intentionally designed polyester sheet that is engineered to degrade as if it were a natural fiber. The sheets’ biodegradability and the rate at which they degrade can be compared to those of a natural material like wool. Shower curtains from 23Threads are made from 100% certified post-consumer recycled polyester. Recycling post-consumer products helps to divert waste from landfills and provides a second life for these plastic-based materials.
