Booked a room and was told they were pet friendly. I have 2 small Chihuahuas. At check in, was told I could only have one dog, maybe I could leave the other in the car. What!!! Rude & certainly not pet friendly. I left & went to LaQuinta. They are 100% pet friendly.

Stayed one night while traveling. Check in was fine and staff were ok. Went to our room and found that there were non outside lights on, the outside stairway was dark and since it was winter a bit snowy. Went to find front desk person to turn on the outside lights - she was in the process of doing so. This still begs the question as to why they were off in the first place. Room was comfortable enough for one night.

To whom it may concern: I have been staying at this Red Roof location for a good amount of time now and I have always been pleased with the staff and there attentiveness to be needs and requests. I do have to say, though, that my most recent encounter with a Red Roof staff member did not go so well. I needed to move some rather heavy items from my room to my vehicle, but there was a vehicle parked in a designated no-parking zone. This was indicated by the lines on the pavement leading up to a pedestrian sidewalk. I tried to go around the car with my items, but there was no space between the car and another car parked adjacent in the designated handicap parking. I tried my best to go around, but slipped and fell on my right hip trying to get to sidewalk. I put the items back into my room and went to the motel office. I explained that I was unable to move items to my vehicle to my room due to a car that was parked in a designated no-parking area. I gave the motel staff member the license plate number so they could search there records, which took almost 15 minutes as it was a paper process to look at all guest reservations. The staff member was unable to find the license plate number associated to any reservation. I tried to explain that I was unable to safely walk to my car from my room to unload items. The staff member said that I could park all the way at the front of the motel and walk the items over. I was already parked in a space in close proximity to my room which was ideal for moving these items so this suggestion was not suitable. I said I needed to move these items tonight and the staff member said there was nothing he could do short of wake up all guests. The staff member said that once all parking spaces were taken, guests can park wherever they want. I said, even if the parking impedes the safe travel/walking of guests. The staff member said yes. This may be true as it is private property and I am unsure of the laws/regulations/hotel policies, but I explained I had fallen trying to get to my vehicle and if I called the authorities there would be an even bigger issue. Luckily I was not hurt aside from a little bruising on my right hip, so I did not go this route, but explained that when cars are parked in designated no-parking areas impeding guest travel, that is an issue. The staff member said that the manager would be notified in the morning as they were in at 9 am and the care would be moved. The staff member took down my name, room number, and best contact phone number so that they could pass this along to the motel manager. I left the motel office and went back to my room still having not been able to move the heavy items to my vehicle. Now it is the next morning and I came out of my room to go to work and the car impeding the safe travel of guests was still parked in the same spot as the night before. This was at almost 10 am and the staff member from the previous night said that this would be addressed before I went to work. So once again I was unable to move the large items to my truck and will need to make another trip back tonight to do so. It is now closing in on 2 pm and contrary to what the staff member said last night that the motel manager would contact me, I now sit in my office and no call has yet come. I do not know when I go back later tonight that this has been taken care of and I will be able to move the items to my truck SAFELY! As a long time patron at this location who has had great service, I am very disappointed that they would treat a valued patron this way. The lack of follow-up on this issue from motel management is very disappointing as staff has always done right by me. I hope for the sake of other motel patrons that this car parked in a no-parking zone did not cause any injuries or undue heartache. Sincerely, A very disappointed, long standing patron

Always stay here Never a problem. Rooms have been very clean and the staff is very friendly. Nice area to walk dogs and the grounds are very clean. Great places to eat and fast access to highway. Will go back again!

My daughter and I were showing dogs up in Springfield MA. We chose this Red Roof Inn because they are close to the show, very dog friendly, and have many restaurants to choose from. There are also places to shop if you need to pick up anything that was forgotten.
