One word...URINE ON SHEETS...ok, three words, BUT...

We were traveling to TN and decided to break up the trip and see Cumberland Falls. Before going to the Falls we checked in to this hotel. At first appearance everything seemed ok. But upon inspection of the beds there was a huge urine stain as well as dirt all over the sheets. I was done at this point, but my husband keeping an open mind went to the desk and explained the room conditions to the clerk. She apologized and gave us another room with the promise of better results. This promise was quickly broken- new room resulted in more dirty beds, running shower upon entrance (which we determined was broken) with clumps of hair in the bathtub and in toilet (seat was left up). Completely done and never again! We went to see the Falls and off to a Hampton we went! Which was wonderful!

You get what you pay for.

We stayed here as part of a group, and along with our experience several others in our group had the same issues. Room was in need of being deep cleaned, furniture was old and dated, bed linens were old and appeared dirty Our walls had big gouges in them and the bathroom was just ok. The carpet was old and dirty as well.

Very Nice Location

Very nice stay!! Found this on Trip Advisor. Appears to be a remodeled location...possibly a former Country Inn? Remodel was well done...more than simply paint. Many areas, including the hotel lobby, breakfast room, and bathroom in our room, look like they were completely redone. Very nice looking. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was minimal but adequate to get the day started. Good experience. I’m sure we will stay here again.

Good for the price

We stayed here rather than the more expensive place we usually stay due to the favorable reviews and a decent price. Front desk staff were pleasant. Everything appeared clean and in good working order. Bathroom seemed to have been recently remodeled with a “ modern, fashionable” sink. The sink and mirror were very pretty, but the sink was a little dysfunctional-square shaped with a very small bowl. And if you happened to turn the water on all the way, it splashed out all over. Breakfast was reasonable, coffee was mediocre. Something I have never encountered- there was no electricity in the room until you placed your room key card in a little slot on the wall. Therefore the air conditioner had not been on, so the room was hot and stuffy, also took several minutes for the air conditioner to start running. Then when it did finally run it was too loud. My husband turned it off when it was time to sleep, so soon the room was back to hot and stuffy. Probably will pay a little more for the other place next time rather than deal with the strange electrical situation and the noisy air conditioner.

Very welcoming

Pleasantly surprised by the room remodel. I was traveling with my dog and we both felt very welcome Plenty of Drive thru choices It was raining that evening so we weren’t able to eat at a restaurant with outdoor seating
