Renovated My Left Foot

I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for." My husband and I didn't expect a mansion or a five star hotel when we booked our stay at this hotel. We've even stayed in this very hotel before on other visits to town. This trip was, however, the worst trip we've had in a long time (and my family is former military so that should really tell you how often we travel). The rooms were advertised as renovated. I don't know about other rooms, but ours most certainly had nothing new in it. It was just the same old dingy kind of room we stayed in years ago. The bed may as well have been card board (but the bedding was nice. I'll give credit where it's due). The ceiling in the shower was actually falling off the ceiling. Our room stank of marijuana. I mean, not like we one smoked a little before we got there. It STUNK. Severely. However, the worst part of our trip was the pet policy. There was a serious miscommunication about their pet policy. Because of this miscommunication, my husband and I we're called and were made to leave our grandparents 60th Anniversary (the whole reason we were in town, by the way) to find somewhere else for our dogs, or risk not having a pla e to stay at the end of the night. I'm not blameless in this. I made mistakes in the booking process and I won't blame the hotel for me being ignorant of the actual pet policy, but what I can't give them a pass for is the way it was handled. Don't give multiple websites multiple different policies and expect people to know what's going on.

Room is always clean and they provide a continental breakfast (danishes, hard-boiled eggs, muffins and coffee) it's pet friendly so we always bring our dog with us .. they have an outdoor pool and it's always alot of fun to watch the kids enjoying it thankyou for always providing top notch service see u next time 🙂

This was the worst place I have ever stayed! Room smells like animals and chemicals! Man was complaining at desk that someone urinated on his bathroom floor and door and no one cleaned it up! Horrible...This place should rent by the hour not day.

Amazing customer service!

We arrived very late into town as we came across this hotel. We were greeted warmly by the staff members and they gave great recommendations on food choices. The rooms were in good shape and the area felt like home. For the price we paid, it was definitely worth it and would recommend coming back again!

Great room for great price!

My husband and I travel with our 2 dogs every trip. It can be hard to find an economic and safe place to stay with our girls. I highly recommend Red Roof Inn Somerset to stay if you have dogs. It was quiet, away from traffic sounds. Even the rooms were quiet. Quiet is perfect for our dogs because they won't get startled, and they are able to relax. We will definitely stay here again when in Somerset.
