Red roof in Roseville

I enjoyed my stay here Connie was great she more than made up for the awful experience I had at the Red Roof in Southfield MI she was very apologetic on their behalf and did everything she could to make sure my stay was good

I want to acknowledge Melissa from the #012 location in Roseville/,SCS MI. She has ALWAYS gone above and beyond!! She deserves to be a manager or in a leader position! She is the reason I return to this location versus all the other hotels in this area!

A HUGE thank you!!

We originally booked a room at a neighboring Motel. It was disgusting!! It was dirty and had very loud guests that were using drugs! -So,my husband and had find another hotel at 2:00 am in the morning. We booked a room through Priceline. But, I accidentally made the reservation for Tuesday but it was still Monday! However, Melissa at the front desk saved the our night. She helped us cancel our previous reservation and got us a great room for an awesome price! She was beyond kind and helpful!! After having a terrible and scary experience at our previous motel it meant so much to go to a different motel and have Melissa go out of way to help us. Thanks so much again!

Very poor experience

To be honest, it's going to be difficult for me to justify staying at this hotel in the future. Let me start with my arrival. Upon entering the room, there was a distinct smell of perfume mixed with cigarette smoke. Surprising, since the Inn is “smoke-free”. Far from it. After returning home from my visit, I can still smell smoke on my personal effects. The next thing to greet me is I look in the sink and for the second stay in a row, I find what appears to be a black pubic hair in the upper rim of the sink. Is it really that difficult to clean properly? Considering I was very fatigued after a long drive, I didn't want to go back to the front desk to request another room, expecting that the next room might not be much better. So, I decided to unpack my belongings and when I pulled open the top drawer of the dresser below beneath the television, a screw fell out from somewhere and the bottom of the drawer laminate was falling off causing the drawer to jam slightly. Annoying, but something that could easily be repaired I presume. The floor looked appeared as though it hadn't been mopped or clean thoroughly in quite some time. Blemishes and spots of discoloration on the floor. There was only 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper remaining in the bathroom when I arrived. So after a day or so, I had to track down housekeeping and request more. The only window to the outside looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in at least a year, probably longer than that. Grotesque. Finally, after observing several men come and go in the room next door, it became apparent to me that the woman occupant was probably engaging in prostitution. The morning I checked out, an African-American man (that I think was her former husband) showed up screaming at her calling her a “prostitute”. A VERY sad and disturbing experience. I've been a repeat visitor to this red roof Inn. it's going to be very difficult for me to justify returning.

The Friendliest Staff Around!

Miss Connie at the front desk is wonderful! Always super friendly and helpful. We first met her at the Warren location and now stay in Saint Claire Shores even though it's farther from our family just because she's so friendly. This hotel is a lot nicer and much cleaner too!
