Good clean and comfortable

The room was very nice and clean. We stayed 3 nights and each day our room was cleaned good and fresh towels left. We were visiting our daughter at college therefore gone most of the day. The bed was very comfortable. More than expected for the price. It was good to be able to save money on the motel to spend on the grandkids.

Good Stopover motel

I booked this room as a stopover on the way down to Philly. Check-in was fast and friendly. the room was clean and efficient. the ice machine that was closest to my room was out of order, but i easily found another one. no real problems. only thing that keeps me from giving this a full 5 out of 5 was the strange charge of $1.50 for the safe in my room that i didn't use at all. i didn't notice this charge until some time later.

I want to thank peggy and staff for a wonderful long stay, and great customer service. Hotel was nicely updated and rooms were very clean. I often travel throughout the country and this was one of the best red roof I've ever stayed. Many amenities close by. Peggy, and Anita's customer service wss superb. The property overall was clean and well maintained

Another great experience while visiting family in upstate NY.

From check-in to check-out, the stay here was wonderful. We were given the requested room. The parking was convenient. The room was comfortable and at an extremely reasonable price for the area. Of particular note was Faye S. in Housekeeping Services. She spoke with us daily and was genuinely concerned about our comfort. The room was well maintained, towels plentiful, and supplies provided as needed. We stayed 7 nights and plan to return in February.

Dirty, Horrible...

I stayed here the first week of August, which was a very busy time and almost all hotels in the area were booked up. I arrived a little early and everything was going great when the woman was able to check me in early. I get to my room and notice there's no fridge or microwave (and I was staying with my children, so this wasn't ideal). I saw pictures online showing rooms with these things, so I was confused but my anxiety and fear of complaining told me to get over it. I then went to go use the very very small bathroom and immediately smelled a musty smell. The shower curtain had mold all over it and the tub was gross and missing any sort of plug. I call the front desk and ask to be switched to a different room and was given an attitude on why it took me 2 hours to ask for a new room (I just really hate confrontation and try to make the best of things). I go downstairs and Peggy was nicer in person and helped me get into another room. I had to pay to upgrade my room to get the microwave and fridge.. I then learned when you book online through a travel site like this one... you don't get an option to choose those kinds of rooms.. which is why I didn't get one. So she tells me to swipe my card and I'll be all set. So we go to the new room, and immediately I feel relieved and better about staying for 4 days with my kids. So I sit on the bed and relax and notice there is dog hair, pubic hair, and crumbs ALL OVER THE PLACE. On the pillow cases, under the comforter, it was nasty. So again, trying to avoid confrontation I walk downstairs and see Faye who does the hotels laundry. She's not even a housekeeper or anything. I explain to her I need new sheets and she brings them up.. she sees the sheets herself and calls to the front desk (at this point I'm mortified because I really didn't want to deal with the front desk again). Faye was amazing and helped me change the sheets and pillow cases and took the blankets... she even said it was unacceptable and gross. So later that night I go to look at my bank account and notice my account is negative because I was charged multiple times for the hotel. I was panicking as I'm out of town and have my two kids with me and still have days left of being there, and it was about to be the weekend and I wouldn't have my money back until Monday (you know how banks can be). So I go to the front desk and I explain that my account has been charged multiple times, it turns out when I went to the new room I paid again for my whole trip.. so Art calls my bank, gives them all the information they need to cancel the payment as only one payment was needed. The money went immediately back in my account. The rest of my stay went smooth. But this isn't ideal for a family trip or anything. This place is great if you have dogs (as they allow them), and single people who are just staying for a short amount of time. It wasn't worth the money or the headaches. Faye and Art are the only employees that seem to genuinely care about the visitors, and go above and beyond at their jobs. Without them I don't know what I would've done. The best part is there are envelopes with the housekeepers name for you to leave tips.. because they do so much!
