Great Stay, Good Service.... & Reasonable Prices!

We chose this hotel because it was close to the PA turnpike and its surrounding cities. This hotel had a clean and spacious room. It was enough to accommodate my friends and me. Our stay included free breakfast and gym for a quick morning workout. Hotel staffs were eager to help with anything and provided good options for places to eat. But most importantly, the prices were reasonable. We will stay with Red Roof in the future.

This hotel is great for the price. The rooms are clean and the staff was very kind and accommodating. Loved that there was no extra charge for pets and the breakfast included was very convenient for a busy day.

Worst customer service

We drove over 10 hours to get to PA for a wedding. We got to the Inn around 10:30 to see if we could check in. The front desk lady, very snappy saids, check in is at 3 and looked backed down at what she was doing. So that was the end of that. We were exhausted and wanted to just lay down for a little while before we had to head to the venue. Instead we went to grab lunch and think about what to do. My husband who had absolutely no sleep for 24 hours just needed rest. We have stayed in plenty of hotels and not to mention during peak season, even on July 4th in a major tourist city and was able to check in hours early. We proceed to go back and talk to the front desk lady. Who tells us again check in isn't until 3, at this point is was almost 12. Their parking lot had 4 cars. She finally offers to check to see if our room is even ready (which she should have done at our first arrival) and then says it will be an extra $25 to check in early. I would have been glad to pay extra IF she had done this when we first arrived. We just left. Customer service was garbage. If you want someone's money for a weekend stay you should try and be accommodating and helpful. I'd give no stars if possible.

Great place to stay!!

I had to come down here for a wedding and let me tell you this place was fantastic. The staff was very nice and very helpful in every need we have. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. My wife is normally a neat freak and even she was content by the cleanliness of this establishment. The breakfast was a nice addition to the stay as well. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit!

First and last time at a Red Roof Inn

This definitely looks and smells old and musty. Our room was clean but just smelled musty and like stale smoke. The AC unit struggled to cool our room and kept cycling on and off (loudly) all night. Parking is a concern, as the large lot is filled with workers' trucks. There were groups of men congregated at the side door and front door, drinking, smoking, and loudly using vulgarity. We were only a few steps from the side door! Apparently, the second floor is used for these workers, and we could hear them in the hallways and walking in their rooms. The walls are indeed very thin, and as someone else wrote, you can clearly hear the loud road noise. Fortunately, we were staying only one night. It was a fitful night, and we both got about 4 hours of sleep, being awakened by talking and noise at 356 am! A plus is being able to bring your pets, however, the freshly mowed area right by the side door is marked NOT a pet area, while one is to walk across the parking lot to a beer can filled, unmowed area with their pets. The mowed area by the door seems to be where folks throw their cigarette butts and beer bottle caps. There is some sort of facilty right behind this hotel and at 5 am, there were people outside talking loudly. A free breakfast is the norm these days, however, when one of your items is "fresh fruit", dont put out five rotten bananas and one apple. The coffee was good and ready at 5. I was glad of that because we had coffee after our early wakeup and got out of there. The folks here writing that they cannot wait to stay here again must have stayed somewhere other than this hotel.
