Dirty & rundown with a rude Front Desk agent

Stay away from thus motel. Promised a 100% refund from the General Manager because he agreed my experience was awful. Never got the refund. The Front Desk Agent simply wanted to argue and put her hand up at me to dismiss and diminsh what I was saying, as a customer.

Unprofessional check in staff. Unconcerned with helping guests. I was bluntly told there were no rooms available for the night. I had to go to my car and reserve my room online, then go back inside to get them to acknowledge the vacancy and grant me the room.

Acceptable, but not much more than that.

This is a decent budget hotel, so to a certain extent, you should expect what you pay for. However, for very few dollars more, you can stay at the Baymont Inn on Woodruff and have a much better experience. The problems started at check-in. First, they said my reservation was cancelled (and I actually showed up long before check-in). About one hour later, we got that sorted out & I had to wait another two hours to check in. The lady at check in was sweet and did her best though. It wasn't her fault after all. Laurens road used to have a lot places to eat and shop, but those years have long since past, so your only *very* close option for dining is the Waffle House, where people have been shot (on more than one occasion). There are lotssss of unsavory types hanging around, usually smoking weed right in the open and looking suspiciously at pretty much everyone. Bathrooms are indeed filthy. They need to be remodeled.

Gross and will not be staying here again. Everything is dirty. look at the pictures they speak for themselves. After being on the road for work all day I regret the my choice in staying here. I would look elsewhere.

First I called to reserved it,,all good they have my CC . if i need to cancel I can't bc i just say yes, I will I got there around 9:30 pm my son and I..So tired drove from MA, and I am driving back so I USED to like red roff..Well I got there, I have to go to the small window, (weird) they took my CC, driving Lic, and AAA card.. the lady, left with all, 5 minutes, she start reading something so I ask why it take so long, she got so mad, the what I as thinking. I am so tired, the I said sorry.. the man come with my CC, and AAA give it to me, but kept my driving lic. he took copy , and give me the key for the room. I ask for my driving lic, he said wait..Ok I wait 2 more minutes he give it to me...I ask where was the room, he point me to the wall to look the map.. Great i find the room, I go there,oh lord smell, my son, said dad it smell, I said well, we paid, let just sleep in the closed, take shower go around 3 am..went to the shower its hair ll over,,I try my best to clean it for my son. I clean the toilet,,, around 1 am, people talking outside drinking, my son, said let leave dad,,I said I can't drive I need to closed my eyes, just forget about it..3:45 people talking outside, laughing and whatever... by 5:30 we took shower left the room, and still people drinking outside, on thursday am. well we left all good right? I got home on friday i got an email with the charges, and a link for review the hotel... I review friday April, 22, 2017.. today day april 25,2017 , i have another charges the said "room So bc i didn't give them good review they charging me,,I contact my CC they will return me my money..I called but they don't want to talk to me, so tomorrow I am calling ..1800 554-4555 to complain . I used to like red roof, very clean, but that was my last time EVER, they place is a pig place.. I think they have people leaving there 24/4.. better to sleep in the car xt time. Good luck!
