Dog friendly with nice room

I stopped here at 1 am looking for a room that allows dogs. I found they are a dog friendly chain and had a room available. The room was nice, vinyl plank flooring, could park right in front of my room, the room to the room opened to the lot, perfect for quick access to the outside for the dog. There was no extra fee for my dog to stay. The room didn't smell like dog as you may think in a dog friendly place. The bathroom was very clean. Free breakfast came with the room, a good selection, even hot foods.

Roaches

We saw live two roaches in our room and found a dead roach next to the bed. Staff didn't seem interested, surprised, or apologetic when I mentioned the issue with the bugs on check out. Bed was uncomfortable and the place was pretty run down. Good access to downtown Chattanooga and highway, but worst Red Roof Inn I have stayed at.

Went above all expectations.

I decided to travel to Chattanooga for a few days just to get away from everything for a few days and was in need of a reasonably priced hotel in a decent location. This Red Roof Inn checked all the boxes, and it happened to be the only place that rented to guests under 21. As a solo 19 y/o woman, I was a little bit worried about staying in a motel in Chattanooga, but this Red Roof Inn managed to provide me with a safe, comfortable experience at a very good rate. Check-in/out process was a breeze, room was clean and well-lit, and the location was very convenient. The bed was a little too firm and it was very easy to hear my neighbors outside with their dogs at night, but overall a very good experience, with a spacious fridge to boot!

Excellent service

So around 20 to 9am on 2/27/19 I called the hotel to see if they had rooms available for the night for my dad n I. Moe said yes, then i stumbled out my words to find out if they had a fridge, the cost and asking if we can checkin around 11. She patiently answered all my questions. We couldn't checkin that early but she said possibly around 2. We also asked for a 1st floor room. We head over park our bobtail in truck parking and sit and wait. I go in at a quarter to 2 she let's me checkin and she was able to get us a room on the 1st floor. We stay at hotels all over and there was something special about the way Moe took care of us. The room was clean and comfortable. Last time we stayed in Chatt we stayed next door at the Super 8 and I believe this is our 1st time at a Red Roof Inn and we were not disappointed. We'll be back for sure. Thank you Moe for welcoming two tired truckers and making us comfortable.

Less than hoped for

Spent one short night here for one reason. We have a dog. Room had meager appointments and big holes in towels. Signs all said it was a No Smoking Room, but there were cigarette burns along the edge of the tub. Mini fridge was good to have, but freezer was so iced up we could not get the PINT of ice cream we bought into it. At breakfast (early) Fox News was blasting on the dining area tv. I asked the clerk if he would change the channel. He replied that most folks like Fox. I said that I don’t and since I was the only person in the room I would like him to change it. “What channel fo you want?” “NBC or CBS would be fine.” He put on the weather channel and said that would have to do. There is no excuse for his behavior. I will be contacting corporate and looking for a different chain that will allow our 15 lb well-behaved dog without dictating our news source.
