Before I start, I want to say that I officially rated this place a 3 out of 5, only because there was no way to rate it a 2 1/2. According to this site, a rating of 3 is "Average;" this was somewhat "Below Average." The property just didn't seem to be the cleanest, especially outside. When we first checked in, I walked into the room I was assigned to find it piled up with boxes and room refrigerators. That was totally unacceptable to have a room obviously being used for storage (even if it was just short term storage) in the system as being available for use. We were quickly given a different room, being told it was an "upgrade" to a "suite." I'm not sure what qualified it as a "suite" other than that it had a refrigerator, microwave, and a small desk in it--none of which we needed for our scheduled quick overnight stay. The toilet continually ran (it sounded like the flapper inside the tank didn't seal properly), and we found sunflower seed shells on the floor that weren't visible until we were moving the bed spread. The room was comfortable enough--especially for our quick overnight stay before getting back on the road in the morning to continue our trip, but this property was not up to Red Roof Inn standards. While we were there, an e-mail was sent to me from Red Roof asking how our stay was going thus far. I mentioned the things I just mentioned here, but said it was already late and we were settled in, so there was really nothing that could be done anymore that night. The next day I received an e-mail apology from the owner, saying (in essence) that what we experienced was not up to their standards, and that they would try to do better. I'm not sure how that will help me, because I will probably look to stay elsewhere if I am going through that area in the future. Now, if the owner would have offered a partial refund, then I would have felt that an attempt was at least made to make things right, and I might have rated this a bit higher and might have considered giving them another try.

Bug infested room

We had made a reservation here over 5 months ago. We always stay at Red Roof because we have pets and they do not charge for them. We always ask for ground floor because of the dogs. Wen we checked into our room, it appeared very nice with granite tops on most of the furniture and a new sink area. It wasn't until we were all unpacked and opened the fridge that we saw several buts inside that ran out. We also saw bugs on the bathroom floor. We went to the front desk and they gave us some bug spray that they had there, so obviously they were well aware of the problem. We would have changed rooms but I felt we would end up with the same problem in another room. It looked like there were people who occupied the 2nd floor full time and were not the cleanest, probably where the bugs were originating. We have rented Red Roofs for years and this was the first one we ever had bugs in. We sprayed and felt we probably were good but in the morning, there were about 8 bugs in the dogs dish where some food was still there. Very upsetting!!!!

I would stay here again they have been really nice in understanding,the housekeepers claudia in celfa make sure my room stay clean covers stay wash bed made everyday they make sure I have everything I need.I would recommend others to come in stay.

Not Good

Room was ok but TV was terrible. Can only get few channels because they have it hooked to outside antenna. People hanging around drinking all evening on balcony. We moved next day across road to Days Inn. Far better for the money. Would not stay at that Red Roof Inn again!

The front desk gentleman Albert Garcia, was very respectful,and helpful. He satisfied all my needs when I repeated to ask request for more towels and when I lost my key was very polite to give me a new one
