TripAdvisor Ratings

Just ok.

Wow . Most expensive RedRoof Inn on the trip. No Breakfast. Disappointed in that. Desk chair broke as I leaned back. I am tall and big but really. Looks like it had been “repaired” before by the electrical tape wrapped on the arms. Loud trains and highway. Not the ideal location for a motel/ hotel. The positive thing is proximity to downtown wasn’t bad. 25 minutes in traffic.

Good for money

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in Nashville and the staff were nice and helpful and the rooms were cleaned every day. We were a short drive from the main strip and there were plenty of shops bars and restaurants nearby.

Just ok. Not very clean.

We have stayed here every 2 years for the Vandy vs. Ga. football game. Not sure if we will stay here again. The location is very convenient, near the Interstate and only about 5 miles from Vanderbilt stadium. They do not serve breakfast, so we walked 5 min to Cracker Barrel. We requested a room on the 3rd floor. We had a King room, which was small, but the furnishings appeared new and up to date. Large tv, and comfortable bed. Bathtub was clean, but the water pressure in the shower was terrible. Fake hardwood flooring (vinyl ) in the bedroom was not clean. Looked like the baseboard areas and corners had not been cleaned in months. Same with the bathroom floor. We did not walk barefooted in the room because of this. Because of the dirty floor, we probably won't stay here again. If you are in your room, make sure you lock it and pull the hasp across. We were getting ready in the morning...I was in the shower, my wife sitting on the bed., when the housekeepers (a man and a woman) entered the room without knocking first. No big deal, but really startled my wife...could have been worse! There is a lot of noise from the Interstate on one side, and the rail yard on the other side...but we travel with a white noise machine, so that didn't bother us. This hotel is pet friendly. Cleanliness of our room floor was a real negative this doubt we will be back.

Not as Good as My previous Stays Here
August 26, 2019

This was probably my fifth stay here this year and my 20th or so at Red Roof properties this year. I treated myself to the Premium King Room for this stay. My first room was on the third floor front side of the building. The room looked, smelled and felt great. I was looking forward to relaxing in the King Size Bed for a stress free evening of reading and watching TV. About thirty minutes after check in the toilet tank sprang a leak and flooded the bathroom and a portion of the main room (so happy it was the tank leaking and not the bowl). I called the front desk and was told someone would come up to check it out. Fifteen minutes later as the water crept further into the room I got dressed repacked my luggage and went to the lobby. In her defense the one clerk was taking care of others checking in, doing the best she could. She handed me a key to another room, on third floor back of the building. The second room had two double beds, and a faint odor of cigarette smoke. I called the front desk and was told that was all that was available. It was not nearly as nice as the first room, but I did alright. The only other problems I experienced is on going at this location. I usually leave the tv on all night as I prefer that to hearing outside noises. The tvs at this location are on timers so after a couple hours of inactivity the shut off. Finally the next morning at check out my room key would not activate the elevator to open on the first floor so I had to drag my luggage down the stair. At this point none of this is a deal breaker as my previous stays here have been excellent. I understand that the unexpected happens. I didn't expect to receive a huge discount or a free night. I was a little disappointed that there was no offer of any compensation. Even a small discount on a future stay would have been appreciated. Again in her defense the clerk did the best she could that evening.

Lobby smell
August 09, 2019

Not bad room and amenities. Lobby did smell like french hooker. Someone working there overdid the perfume. My clothes I was wearing while walking thru lobby smelled like whatever perfume they sprayed. Thought it was just one time but that smell was there everytime I walked thru the lobby. Almost to the point of gagging me.
