We stayed here upon evacuating from Key West from Hurricane Irma. Staff was not friendly nor compassionate about our situation whatsoever. When extending our stay the front desk even said booking through a 3rd party might be cheaper and no, it didn't make a difference that we were evacuees. Had housekeeping clean the room once and they didn't even leave us bath towels. When we emailed the general manager about our concerns, she spoke specifically to rate information and apologized if we didn't feel the staff was compassionate but made a point of saying she was fortunate enough not to have experienced a lack of compassion from anyone. Wow. We escalated to the guest relations where we finally spoke with someone emphatic enough to ask about our home, and sent her a copy of our email with the general manager. She said she would escalate to VP of guest relations and guess what, never heard a word. Will not stay at a Red Roof Inn again and would not recommend.

Stayed at this hotel for the weekend. We chose this location due to proximity to the airport (free shuttle was nice), and also due to the fact that staying here was at least $150 per night cheaper than a downtown hotel. Good choice, as a cab downtown runs about $20-$25, so the cost savings are more than worth it. Hotel was nice and clean, staff was friendly, no complaints at all. Would stay there again for sure.

Whenever I visit Nashville, this is my 1st choice hotel. Rooms are updated, very neat and clean. Friendly staff (front desk and housekeeping). Always a pleasurable stay. Its very convenient with several restaurants within walking distance. Pets are also accepted here. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

You learn a great deal more staying in a motel for five days than you do just overnight. You get to meet many more of the staff. You get to hear how different traffic is from weekday to weekend. You get a sense if a motel has heart or if it is heartlessly cruel. We decided that this Red Roof Inn is a very good place to stay. We observed many kind acts by staff. Toward the end of our stay, refugees came from Florida after an evacuation was ordered before Hurricane Irma. We saw these people, most of whom arrived exhausted from the difficult travel, being treated as if they were royalty. The compassion and patience shown was impressive. The folks at this motel have heart and show it. We were very impressed. We arrived exhausted from travel ourselves, flying in late at night and arriving at the motel just after 1 a.m. by cab. Got to our room, unpacked and tried to go to sleep at 2. Not possible. Outside noises, refrigerator noises, air conditioner noises. If we had only stayed this one night, i would have complained of all these things and given them less than stellar scores. Other nights, when we were not exhausted, getting to sleep was very easy. The room was always very clean. None of our valuables were disturbed. Fresh towels each day. Room cleaners kept our drapes closed all days but one to help keep our valuables out of sight. We were given all the waters we wanted each day to keep in our refrigerator. Used the microwave often to heat food. Never made coffee in room because the pots were always ready in the office, where they had multiple creamers. Good coffee. We asked for a blanket a day in advance to take on an outdoor concert on the green night. We wanted something used or worn out so grass stains wouldn't be an issue. They had just donated all their "old" blankets to Hurricane Harvey survivors in Texas, so could not give us an old one. So, they let us use a new blanket! Unfortunately, we had a medical emergency come up and had to leave a day before our reservation was up. When i explained what had happened, and that i would donate our room for a night to anyone coming from Florida needing a place to stay in lieu of a refund, especially because i could not give 24 hour notice as required......the clerk said, no problem with a refund. You folks get home and take care of your health issue. Since it was still the night before we would depart, they could not run our bill. But when i stopped at the office at 4:45 a.m. to check out, the bill was waiting for me. As was good wishes from yet another clerk at this compassionate facility. Last note. Many of the last day travelers had their pets with them, trying to get them to safety. Must have seen and petted at least 24 different dogs just our last day. This facility does not have a ton of lawn space for dogs, but there were no families turned away because of pet overload. Our last day neighbor had two dogs with her, and several others i met were walking with multiple dogs on leashes.

The rooms are clean and the beds are soft. The staff is great. I was over all happy with the room. The AC made the room smell a little musty but that's an easy fix. You can't beat the value as well as the location. The room smelled fresh not like wet dirty dog like some pet friendly rooms I have booked in the past.
