Good TV quality and channel selection, questionable neighborhood, threadbare room

The place suffers from neglect in many respects, especially the lobby and elevator. Walls and surfaces are worn with harsh lighting — just not very attractive and inviting. However the TV was excellent with good channel selection. And the hotel was very quiet. The bathroom wasn't super clean and the toilet worked marginally. I had concerns about the parking lot after seeing 4 wheel hubs and wood debris lying in the parking space next to mine. It made me wonder if they strip cars here? A very odd/disturbing thing to see. The front desk clerk was super nice and there appeared to be a lot of people staying at the hotel. Pet friendly policy was good. No microwave in room unforunately. I would bypass this one in the future.

Wouldn’t have given any circles at all if we could just leave that section of the review blank. Upon arrival we were asked to pay the full amount of our stay when we thought we already paid, and didn’t have the card we preferred to pay with on us because we were not notified of the payment policy. We were then sent to check into a disgusting room that was clearly still being used by another guest and was completely messy, including cups everywhere, unmade beds, dirty sheets, and the tv still on. After uncomfortably and awkwardly being sent to someone else’s current accommodation, we were next sent to a room right next to a door leading outside, and with NO lock, instead. The lock on the door of our room had been forcibly ripped off of the wall and the sheets were again unsightly. After hearing from multiple sources in the area about the dangerous and illicit activity that apparently occurs in the area of our hotel, we of course felt unsafe and requested another room change in order to have a working lock on our door. Two of our uber drivers even told us that they generally avoid picking up riders in the area of our hotel at night. The inconvenience caused by this staff caused a huge loss of time on our trip, because rather than going out and enjoying our first day in Nashville, we had to spend our much valued time changing rooms multiple times, and facing issues that put us in danger. In addition, when we simply asked for a few more towels for our room and specified the amount of people we were, they sounded hesitant on the phone and only brought three when there were four of us staying in the room. We felt that the staff was not accommodating at all and did not even show the slightest concern about the complaints that we brought up to them multiple times, and even opened a case with management about. After sending an email about these concerns I only received what seemed to be an automated, general email, “thanking me” for sharing my experience. This was a disheartening response as I would have hoped to at least hear from management directly regarding these issues. We paid a lot of money to stay at this hotel and it was DEFINITELY not worth it. Would NOT recommend, would NOT return.

Beware - multiple thefts reported

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and on second night someone entered room while we were sleeping and stole our wallets. There were other people in our group and they had things stolen as well. We reported to the police and they said this isn't the first time this has happened. Stay away - terrible security.

The staff was real helpful the rooms were clean the night clerk was very friendly I would recommend this hotel to my friends breakfast was real good the area was safe the hotel was really nice and clean

Wife and I stayed for a Saturday night and it was 172.00$ out the door... For this price, I expect many things to be in order and at a caliber that is commensurate with the price I pay... Food: They offer breakfast at the early and inconvenient hours of 6am-9am. I woke up at 6 am just to grab some items. The only eggs they offered were hard boiled, and when I bit into them, they were HARD as a rock and absolutely inedible. This means they did NOT prep these eggs that day at 6 am, and were probably at least a day old. I left this overpriced hotel feeling hungry and empty. Room: the room was clean, but very basic. The bathroom was large, but had holes in the walls like a cheap hotel. Also I was assigned a handicap bathroom for some odd reason, i'm sure this could have gone to another patron that actually needed it! They give you paper coffee cups, filters, coffee, etc, but NO brewer could be found in the room to actually make the coffee they provide for you... Also the wall outlets were ripped from the wall, forcing you to contend with wires all over the floor as a trip/fall hazard. Staff: To top it off, I went back to the lobby to grab coffee at 9 am. They were out of coffee and told me they were brewing some more and to CHECK BACK IN THIRTY MINUTES.... Why on earth would it ever take a human being 30 minutes to brew 1 pot of coffee. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never stay at this hotel again, and I'm completely shocked at the very least that I payed 172$ for a single night.
