Great Value
November 22, 2019

Super sleep, clean, convenient, and quiet stay. This is my 3rd stay. Easy to reach from the freeway. Many options, but this is the best value for the money. This hotel always has the handicapped, nonsmoking room ready, when we arrive.

Over priced for one night stop
October 13, 2019

I was traveling through el paso and extremely tired. Attempted to find rooms at 3 other hotels all were sold out. Went to Red Roof and was charged $150 with taxes for one night and 2 beds. I took it rather than try to drive exhausted. The room was decent but not worth $150 only one bar of soap and one tube of shampoo. The coffee maker in the room didn't work. The coffee in the lobby was cold. Great way to take care of travelers in need.

Dishonest staff and pervert manager/owner
October 04, 2019

Okay I'm not even sure where to begin so I will start at the beginning. On the 28th of July I checked into the Red Roof Inn East location in El Paso Texas with expectations of a long-term stay of at least a month. immediately upon check and I had to change rooms because the bathroom was dirty on the original room which was not a big deal to me so my trip proceeded and I had no problems until about 2 weeks in when I went to pee and I was informed that I would have to check out of my room for two hours and then check back in not understanding what this was about I spoke with the owner who pulled me to the side and propositioned me for sexual favors when I declined his favors he then said disregard I'm sorry you're not that type of woman I apologize you can go ahead and check the end stay in your room you don't have to check out well my trip continued my stay continue without any problems and on the 31st day I went to pee and also inquire about my refund for the tax exemption which the law states that I am entitled to and again I was told I have to check out for 2 hours and check back in well unbeknownst to me and this time frame they called the El Paso Police Department and informed them that I was involved in some sort of illegal activities which I was not I was confronted by undercover detectives I was embarrassed they searched my room and of course found nothing so then I proceeded to check back in as I was told that I could do and I was denied check in however 3 days before this incident occurred I saw the manager at about 2 in the morning and I assumed he had been drinking and he wants again proposition me for half an hour with anal sex again I decline at this point I was very upset he apologized as well so now I have been calling for over a month trying to get in contact with the manager in regards to the refund that the law says that I am titled to and every time I call Erica the front desk person tells me he's not available he's not there when I threatened to call the corporate office I am there but we're just franchise insinuating that there's nothing that can be done at this point I just want what I am entitled to by law and I will never deal with these people again however I am considering seeking legal counsel for defamation of character and the unwanted calls the police department as well as the prop the propositions for sex from the owner so please stay away from this place it is extremely unprofessional unless you're an escort or prostitute in the owner might give you a room for free in exchange for favors

Potentially Great Property Ruined By Residential Guests
August 22, 2019

I'm a Red Roof fan. This property is either relatively new or has been refurbished extensively, and the rooms are really great. There was active construction/expansion on the front of the property which was not open. This is a hybrid. There are interior corridor rooms on the upper floors and exterior access rooms on the first floor. I was located in what I refer to as the "residential wing" in the middle of three rooms, maybe four (exterior), of local residents with ratty cars and rattier looking clothing enhanced with some all-night smokers. The room next to me had multiple people going in and out constantly all night (with squeaking door hinges) until about 3:00am and they were constantly talking loudly both inside as well as directly outside my door--not a terribly safe feeling environment. I had to call the front desk at one point. Someone joined the room about 2:00am, returning from work and the noise level and activity accelerated. Needless to say I had little, if any, sleep. The hotel failed on it's inherent promise to deliver a comfortable, safe place to SLEEP. I got an emailed apology from "Jay," the General Manager, three days later. I appreciate that and that's a first but I still am not happy with this stay and compensation would be appropriate, at least 1/2 of my nightly rate or the offer of a future stay.

Red roof strikes again
February 21, 2019

My wife and I are thankful for Chris and his supervisor who helped us get checked in late that night. We came from Florida and had to bring wife to Emergency Room due to infection she had while we were traveling on way to Tucson. We were so tired and had mix up with our credit cards but their excellent service got us to our room to get the rest we needed. This makes the money we paid for an overnight stay so so worth it. I wrote about the pleasant stay I had in red roof in Houston years ago which caught the eye of many readers here. So, keep the red glowing bright, guys!!
