Visiting the Quartzsite gem show

Well Blithe is sort of your basic kind of town most hotels are overpriced but they do at least serve breakfast in the morning, this one however has nothing to offer in the morning except coffee. The hotel it’s self was relatively clean but you will have to ask for towels and nobody hits their swimming pools. I’m pretty sure there are better values in town but one good thing is that they are dog friendly. So bring your dog make sure you pack your own breakfast lunch and dinner and be prepared to pay a little bit more than it’s worth.

Classic desert motel, good feeling, easy access, friendly, clean.

We've stayed here at least four or five times now in the last eight years, as it is convenient to Quartzsite events and all stays have been a bargain and quite convenient. Although the motel is certainly aging, it is still an enjoyable accommodation. The only downside was on our most recent stay in 2018, when there were no reading lamps on the bedside tables. The refrigerator, microwave, plumbing, etc. all worked well. We found several electric outlets in convenient places for charging cell phones, laptops, camera batteries, and so on. On all visits, I have especially appreciated being able to park close to the room (all rooms are ground floor), as this makes loading and unloading personal items so much easier.

Good value for money

This hotel is a hood value for the money. The beds were firm which we like. It was clean and even though older was still good. Liked the helpful front desk people. A good value for an inexpensive room. No breakfast but a Starbucks is very close. Good value for the money.

Old, but trying with the appliances and the basics

We had three adults and two children -- my husband, 11-year-old son, and my husband's eldest daughter with her three-year-old. Red Roof gave us a two-room, no-frills suite with the bathroom just off the small hall that serves as the divider between the rooms. We got three double beds, and the first room had the most space, with one double bed, a fridge, small coffee-maker and microwave, plus the TV and a small table with two chairs. It was perfectly comfortable -- beds were firm and the furniture fair. The second room was It was rather dark, since lighting was the bare minimum and felt a bit harsh. The rooms are devoid of decor, and you're not paying for that,so it felt ... utilitarian, not exactly cozy or welcoming. But it was comfortable. We booked via a third-party travel club, which had outdated information about the chain affiliation as America's Best Value Inn, with a continental breakfast. We drove around and around the block, looking for our hotel late at night until we finally just went here, since the address was correct. They had our reservation and check in was easy, thank goodness. I found out later that the switch to the Red Roof Inn had been in 2015, and this was 2017! I probably would not have chosen this motel, however, because it didn't offer breakfast anymore with its Red Roof Inn affiliation. When you travel with a family, it is better to have a breakfast included, however small it might be. We ended up going to the diner next door and spent quite a bit of money we would have saved had we chosen another place that has breakfast. On the other hand, if you have provisions with you and are prepared, you can make a decent breakfast using the fridge and microwave and eating on the room.

EV Charging Available Here

Had to visit Blythe overnight and I have an EV. It worked for the evening. The front desk people are very friendly. There is free coffee. There is food within walking distance. I felt safe. I felt that the sheets were a little worn and the rug could use a better vacuum. However, the availability of EV charging was very important to me and it was appreciated to be able to plug in.
