Somewhat wary, not problems!

We do the Tennessee South Florida thing just about every year. Macon is half way. On the way back we looked for Red Roof because we have an older cocker spaniel that goes everywhere with us. I had thought we had stopped here before, but when we turned in to the parking lot, it was like "oh god", it was at the edge of a deserted shopping center, desolate! I said to my wife "S?*t, we haven't been here before". But, upon entry and check in and yes, we checked the room, No. 105 for full disclosure, everything was fine, and it was a lobby hotel, not an old outside entrance motel. To boot, the breakfast was great with waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy plus juices and coffee. So, in the end, well worth the "sticker shock", and the dog slept great.!

Do not stay here!!

This place is horribly disgusting. Honestly, it shouldn’t even be operating. We arrived at 12am to spend the night on our way from Indiana to Florida. The minute we saw where we had to get off the highway we knew it was going to be bad. The hotel is located by a deserted strip mall and other seedy motels. The lobby had a strong marijuana smell. The front desk clerk was a very friendly man, didn’t catch his name. Signs posted in the hotel say no smoking but the entire place reeks of cigarette smoke. Pillows were lumpy, bed uncomfortable, dirty towels, pubic hairs in the bathtub. Breakfast was disgusting. The worst part?? A herd of stray cats (over 20 cats) hangs out around the hotel property. Don’t stay here...even if it were free.

THE SERVICE TAKES WAY TO LONG

Little kids are pain to me and you have these vermis running all over the recital like little rats the service tasted amazing I highly recommend to my family NOT! It takes way to long and they added to my bill every time I got service. I say you SHOULD GIVE ME A WHOLE LIFETIME OF FREE STAYING! Tootles i hope life is well. Thank you for your time *never go here*

Great Staff - Decent Hotel

n- Richaud was learning the front desk duties and he was wonderful. He has a great attitude and was very helpful to me at check in (schlepping stuff up to the room with a dog in tow). Richaud's supervisor was doing a good job helping him learn how to treat guests well. Even the housekeeping staff was very nice. The room was large and fairly clean - I love the vinyl floors and new furnishings. I left a note for housekeeping (with a tip) suggesting things they could clean better. The hotel is located in an urban setting with little green space for walking a dog, but there was still enough of an area to walk. There is a lovely dog park (Macon Dog Park) about 4 miles away and a people park to walk in even closer (Amerson River Park). Be careful to stay away from the rooms that back up to the elevator banks - they are very noisy. Breakfast was nice - scrambled eggs, waffles, and the rest of the usual stuff. The hotel is located right off I-75 for very easy on/off access. I would stay here again.

I'd like to say that my stay at this Red Roof Inn on my vacation for 5 days were fantastic! I came from Ohio and I got a king-size Jacuzzi room. The staff was excellent, they were very welcoming they made my stay very comfortable, and they gave me extra towels, lots lol...I have OCD! everything that I needed, they were really great and I will go there again and not just on vacation.I plan on going back next month thank you guys so much you were great. You guys if you're looking for somewhere to stay somewhere that's affordable somewhere that's clean somewhere comfortable this is where you need to go enjoy your stay! I did!
