Wouldn’t stay again

Not sure how this place got to be a RedRoof+ as my room had definitely seen better days. When I got to the room, one of the nightstands was pulled away from the bed and the wall behind where the nightstand should have been was a badly stained. That was a clue as to how the visit would be. Internet service was really poor. Barely a signal, and that was intermittent to the point of being unusable. The furniture had seen better days, the curved shower rod meant to give you more space in the tub was loose so the curtain drooped and left both ends open. The separate heating system made clicking noises when it was operating. Paint was peeling off the ceiling. The door to the room had all the signs of having been broken into. The room does have a safe, even if you don’t use it they try to charge you unless you ask on checkout to have the charge removed. If you are sensitive to noise, the hotel is on a bluff above the freeway, so you get noise from there. If you have a car, the location is close in, but without one you are in trouble. The only plus was the friendly guy at check-in.

Wonderful Place to stay

The hotel was clean and free parking. Hard to find in Atlanta free parking. The lady at the front was very friendly and knew restaurants in Atlanta. I was surprised at how large the room was, with a working desk.

Misrepresented - DO NOT STAY HERE

My husband and I stayed here (to our shame) for two nights. We should have left the moment we had a look at the room but we were tired and traveling with a dog and we just wanted to crash and sleep. Every piece of furniture in the room (room #118) was chewed up/damaged in some way, every piece of metal (lights over the headboard, drawer pulls, etc) were pitted and/or rusted and/or dirty. The floor had some random garbage on it (yuck), the drapes were not hung properly on the rod so they were hanging off the rod and the walls near the ceiling, were dirty (I don't even want to know). The outside had miscellaneous litter around and quite a few less than savory looking people lurking about. Room 118 is next to the mechanical room (which we did not notice or realize until we were in bed and trying to sleep only to be awakened by the loud mechanical room sounds) so if you do decide to stay here DO NOT stay in room 118 for all the reasons sited above. We should NOT have stayed but the room was pre-paid and we know from experience getting a refund would be next to impossible. Shame on us for staying there but I hope this review helps you avoid the same/similar experience. It is possible, I suppose, that there are other more updated rooms on the property but the one we stayed in was a total and complete dump. We feel lucky to have gotten out of there with no diseases and no injuries (I did spray down and wipe down all the surfaces before we settled in as they do not seem to be observing any Covid protocols) The one and only bright spot was the hotel reception staff were courteous and helpful.

Beyond Expectations

Great place to stay, convenient location and AMAZING STAFF. I found this to be affordable and clean. The staff are friendly, informative, friendly and well informed. Thank you all for a good experience.

The hotel manager Mr Robert was awesome, he checked me in a soon as I got there. He saw I was having a very hard morning. He just don't know how much I appreciated that. Will stay there anytime I have to get a room. Thanks m Mr. Robert and staff.
