My husband and I have been here a couple of times now and we enjoyed our stay. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. 😀. The area is quiet So many different things around.

upon check inn I was greeted with worm greeting. Front desk staff was friendly. Check inn was easy and smooth. The rooms look great brand new. Clean and comfortable. Better then any high end hotel for the price. Parking lot was bright and safe. Next time I come back to indy I will come stay here with my family.

I've attached infomation regarding my horrible stay at the location mention. I have stayed at Red Roof in the 46410 Merrilville are and other places many times and this by far has been the worse experience ever. I've also included Priceline, so they can be aware of this issue and hotel staff they are offering on their website. I made the reservation via Priceline at the beginning of the week. When I arrived, I paid a $25 fee for early checkin, $50 deposit plus the room charge for 1 night. I booked a double room with double beds. Upon arrival, it was 1 very small room with 2 full beds in there. We booked a non-smoking room, which smelled like smoke upon arrival, so we had the staff come up and smell it 1st so we wont be charged later. It was my husband and I plus our 2 children 5 and 10 and our dog. When it was time to checkout...all hell broke loose. We turned our key in and they went upstairs to check the room. I was told I was going to be charged for towels because it was blood on them. I explained to them that is was ketchup from my kids hands when they ate dinner last night. The police were called and confirmed it was ketchup. Why call the police...A guest could of had a nose bleed, cut or female issues. Instead you called the police and reported us as a threat. Then she explained to me no kids were allowed in the room. I explained to her that it doesn't say that anyone on Red Roof's website or Priceline. again, I've booked many times and my kids were always welcomed. The police explained to her that it does say child and pet friendly. Since she wouldn't listen to us or looked at the information I attached. the police looked at it and attempted to show her. Then, I was told I'm going to be charged extra for the kids. Then I was told Red Roof is not pet friendly. Again, I explained to them it says differently online. I said if they check their cameras, he stayed leashed on walks and we had a huge kennel with a tray in the room so he wont be wondering around the very small area. I was told I should of looked for signs about the kids and pet. As I explained to the police and staff, they checked us in at a small window and not the main lobby so there was no signs posted. I showed them the proof and camera were checked. While my husband and I were trying to explain how what she was saying did not match up when we paid via online with a CC, she was VERY rude. She wouldn't let us get a word out. She told the police that she wanted my husband out of her establishment and arrested, but didn't give the police officer a reason The police said this was a waste of time and acutally gave us Red Roof's corp. information so I can generate this email. The police will be sending us a copy of the report because it would work in our favor. Plus, this Red Roof has SSOOO many complaints against them for false charges as well as the owners calling the police when they cant get their way. I hate to say this, but this could of went SO bad. Calling the police on a African American male as a threat in the lobby with blood found in his room!!!! I know this is the location and Red Roof does not discriminate. I STRONGLY believe I should be refunded for the room due to the fact the room was not what we booked, smelled of smoke and no room exchange was offered and horrible rude staff. I am still accountable for the early check in. My $50 deposit should be returned because there were NO damages to the room when we left

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at! Dirty, stained carpet and smelled awful. When I complained, i was given a bottle air freshener. Would rather stay in car on cold, snowy night. Don't waste your money !

Never had a problem... staff is always made me feel welcome and very comfortable and everytime I feel like I want to steer to another hotel I find myself coming right back to this one thank you guys again so much... 135
