Red Roof PLUS+ Boston – Framingham is located off exit 13 of the MA Turnpike, about 18 miles from Boston. Located near the hotel is the largest retail gathering in New England. It starts with the Natick Mall that includes high-end shopping like Nordstrom's, Niemen Marcus, Macy's, Sears, Lord and Taylor and JCPenny. Its biggest claim is the American girl store as there are only five in the United States. Downtown Boston is a short drive where you can visit sporting venues like Fenway Park to watch the Boston Red Sox or watch the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics play at the TD BankNorth Garden. The New England Patriots play in Foxborough MA which is about 45 minutes away. If you like history, we are right in the middle of it all. From the famous battle sites of Lexington and Concord to the famous Faneuil Hall we are just a short drive away. Downtown Boston has it all if you are looking to see Paul Revere's house, Sam Adam's burial site, Freedom Trail or maybe just want to see a whale watch right outside the New England Aquarium. There are a large variety of restaurants in the area that can range from fast food to elegant dining. One of Framingham's secrets is Ken's Steak House. It has been a staple to the community for over 60 years and continues to deliver Ken's famous salad dressing. If steak is not your desire, there is also a variety of fish restaurants like Legal Sea Foods as well as Brazilian BBQ and other choices like Aegean (Greek style), Samba (Japanese steakhouse) and Margarita's (Mexican) are all very close by. Tara is polite very helpful and a wonderful asset to your business I have been here for 3 months trying to find an apartment with no success every time I come into the office I am always greeted with 10 secs
Very clean and wonderful staff!
The rooms are so clean. The cleaning staff is so kind. The front desk staff is so accommodating and helpful. Im extremely impressed with the rooms as well. The rooms are like brand new and seems as though they were just upgraded. Very modern. The hotel is close to EVERYTHING and there is plenty of parking. I strongly recommend and will continue to stay at the Red Roof over any other hotel in or near Framingham!
Old fashion,small,, lack of amenities
I will say, the room was clean, however it was small, loud and lacking in amenities. There are outside hallways that seemed to support all night traffic of guests traveling from one room to the other. There was no hair dryer in the room, only two towels, no convenient ice machines, tiny soaps , lousy shampoo and an inability of the housekeeping staff to speak English. I will not be returning. Probably never staying in a Red Roof again.
Very unfortunate
My husband, 19 month old son, and I stayed here overnight on May 1st for his visit with Boston Children’s Hospital. We checked in and the staff was nice enough to print our Red Sox tickets we bought in our way down. When we went to go to our room which ended up being on the furthest end right next to the highway (made for some poor sleep d/t the highway noise) It seemed this was the side where all the construction workers were staying as there were a lot of them hanging out outside of the rooms smoking, which was making its way into our room. When I went to use the bathroom in our room I noticed an ant crawling on the shower mat up on the tub. I looked around and saw a few more of them in the bathroom. We left for the game shortly after checking in to come back after the game to see the ants were actually all over the floor in the room. We didn’t feel comfortable even letting our son off the bed because of the ants. We decided to just go to bed as it was late and we had to be up early for our appt in the morning. The next morning we checked out and I let the front staff know the room was infested with ants on the floor and in the bathroom and all I got was a thank you and to have a good day. I was exteremely disappointed in our stay as the room felt dirty and the ants made it impossible for us to take off our shoes or even let our son down on the ground. I had read good reviews on here and assumed it would be a good place to stay for our 6 month trips to Boston children’s but we will be looking elsewhere from now on.
Clean
The hotel is clean, but that’s pretty much all it has going for it. The ironing board didn’t have a mat under the cotton cover, so we had to use one of our two towels to iron clothes on. And the sink was not short people friendly. It was a vessel sink, so it sits on top of the counter. I am 5’2 and it came up to my chest. It was difficult to use, very impractical.
