Stole my money!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. I booked 2 rooms at this place january 2020 for late april to early may for my family for my graduation. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, THE HOTEL cancelled my reservations. Its in the red roof policy that if the hotel cancels the reservation, I should be getting a refund. Not only did I NOT get the refund, I had to call multiple times to the property, only to face an extremely rude and dismissive receptionist, who constantly blew me off. I had to call red roof corporate's number multiple times, before they say they forwarded this case to the property manager, who then said they cannot secure the refund for me and I should work with my bank to get my money back. Absolutely ridiculous, straight up stole my money. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.

Redroof rocks ❤️

My friend and I stay here often, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast accommodations in the morning are always a plus as well. I have not had a bad experience so far. Highly recommend staying here.

Best place to stay and a good price too!

This is one of the best places to stay while in Ann Arbor. Staff is friendly and there is an Applebees behind building 2 that is in walking distance. Price is good and rooms are clean and well kept. You can't go wrong to stay here.

Rude front desk staff, disheveled & dirty room

Very rude and dismissive front desk staff. No one would make eye contact with me, or speak above an unintelligible mumble. I arrived to a lobby FULL of patrons trying to get very simple tasks accomplished by the front desk staff. I, personally, was told the card reader wasn’t working and so I was SOL until it decided to start working again. When I asked when they might have it fixed the person at the front desk gave a laborious shrug and said *maybe* 15 minutes. They finally agreed to allow me to check in (acting as though I was asking for the world) while waiting for the card machine to be fixed—which no one (three employees) seemed to be doing very much of anything about except loitering in the lobby looking bored, unconcerned, and wholly uninterested in helping anyone. It took well over an hour to check in and finally get into my room. I cannot believe that when their card reader isn’t working there’s 0 way for them to let people into their rooms. There is obviously a master key system and the person at the front desk simply couldn’t be bothered to get up off their behind and do the bare minimum their job requires: assisting guests.

Red Roof Inn provided a decent room, it was pet-friendly, had a comfortable bed, was reasonably-priced, and offered good breakfast in a no-frills setting. Recommended. We bought a "premium" king room. I'm not sure that was necessary.
