No, no, no - or won’t allow me to give “0” for the rating, or I would
I can’t even begin to describe this place. Horrible. The condition of the hotel is bad, but what happens there is much, much worse. Not a safe place. I repeat, not a safe place. I’m shocked that a corporation like red roof inn will allow this level of service. It certainly makes me question another stay at any red roof inn. To be honest, we did not stay one night there. At 11:30pm, when the one mini van taxi cab started bringing different loads of ppl in and out, while a man stood outside our door drinking shots - we packed up and left.
Nastiest motel ever
This place was an absolutely disaster. I had to change rooms 3 times because of filth, someone still living in the room and unclean conditions. There were a total of 9 of us renting a total of 5 rooms. The room pictured above isn’t even close to what we had on our visit. This photo is a joke.
Never again!
I have stayed at this hotel several times as my daughter is a student at University of Missouri and I am a Mom on a tight budget! I have never had a real issue with my previous stays. Sure, some sketchy people around and not the nicest of places, but I know where I am staying and you get what you pay for. Last week 4/25/18-I made the 8 hour drive to Columbia from Chicago and arrived at 1am-got the key to my room and exhausted pulled the covers back on my bed to see blood stains on the mattress pad!!! The sheets are paper thin so you can see right through to the pad. I called the front desk and the girl working was very nice-switched my room to the one right next door helped me carry my stuff and offered a discount on the room. The next morning I check my bank and they have billed me twice-once for each room. I went to the front desk and the manager immediately was defensive and INCREDIBLY RUDE when I explained what was going on. She asked why I didn't just go to another hotel last night if I found blood on the sheets? Really?!?! I went back to my room and called the 800 number. The guy at guest relations said he was talking to the manager and she said she would discount my room 50% if I agreed not to make a formal complaint. Sounded like blackmail to me but I agreed-well today the funds have finally been put back on my bank and I will be making a formal complaint and posting this review on every website I can find!

I trusted thenbrand I trusted the brand, "Red roof" and blindly made our reservations. Upon arrival..i immediately felt that this was NOT A GGOD PLACE TO SPEND THE NIGHT. I WAS WORRIED THAT MY RENTAL CAR AND CONTENTS WOULD BE GONE BY MORNING . Its just a gut feeling..but when it comes to personal security..YOU NEED TO FOLLOW YOUR GUT. This hotel is in a less desirable neighborhood of Columbia... strange people hanging out around the property... Just felt BAD... we left and booked at the Radisson.
do not stay here
filthy and no way to rurn down heat. drug dealing going on in back of hotel. Zaw several cars with people getting in and out and then driving off. Thank god I travel with pistol. I would have left if not being armed. Filthy toilet and tub.
