Excellent weekend visir

Arrived at the hotel with no reservation, as we are just doing a road trip and the staff where friendly. We got a kingsize room which was clean, the pool area is well kept along with the other outside areas. We were only passing through but checked in for a further 2 nights, all staff from the office, cleaning and maintenance man were so helpful on things in the area to see. Not sure if I’ve got his name right rocko or Rocky and his wife where just lovely would highly recommend this hotel, we’ve since stopped at more red roofs along our journeys.

I urge everyone to save your hotel confirmation . I also urge everyone to check the paperwork before you sign and initial the rate. They had increased my nightly rate from the rate I booked online. I immediately told the man at the desk that the rate was incorrect . Thank goodness I did have my reservation confirmation with me and I showed him the rate I booked at and it was much lower than the rate he was trying to charge me . He looked at it and admitted the error but he called the hotel manager who was not on site and I had to wait until he came to the hotel . The first thing he said was if I booked through a third party such as a travel site then my rate was incorrect and his higher rate would prevail . I booked online at Red Roof 's own website . Make sure you book online with the hotel website . They won't honor your reservation if its made with a third party booker . After much ado , he finally said he would honor my reservation and fix it on the " back end " with Red Roof . My check in should have been 5 minutes but it was more like 30 minutes because of this error . So now about the hotel itself... I was satisfied with the acccomodations . The room was small but that was to be expected . I liked the fact that the carpet has been removed and its regular flooring . The beds were firm and slept well . They have added new extra outlets in the room so there is more than enough to charge all of your devices. The desk chair was one of the best I have ever sat in . It was very comfortable . There was a new flat screen tv with a great channel lineup . The bathroom has been updated and modernized . The pool was sparkling clean and well maintained . Mr. Patel is a very hands on manager and he is all over the place doing various tasks. The breakfast is just ok .. coffee , milk and cereal, and some pastries . The internet service was bad and it kept kicking me out constantly . Overall I would recommend this hotel but take the precautions I have listed above .

Will serve the purpose

I was in town, spare of the moment, for family business. This hotel was a little better than the one I saw before it. The room is comfortable and descent. However, the extra sheet I requested had blood on it and there was no iron in the room. The “complimentary breakfast” could use a new menu and the eating area a deep cleaning.

Good for the price

Nothing special about the room. Felt fairly clean, bed was comfortable. However, we were not able to get the TV to work during our stay. The staff at first said the satellite was having issues due to bad weather, but when the weather cleared, it was still a problem. We brought it up again, and then was advised there was nothing that could be done to fix it. Breakfast was ok, danish, muffins, cereal and apples type stuff...but always was out of food. When we asked the front desk they did refill.

Horrific Experience

I booked a king size room first floor for Saturday June 2, 2018. I arrived around 4PM to stand in line behind 3 other people all with reservations but experiencing issues getting a room. I finally received a key and when I went into the room I was overpowered by the smell of mildew. I called the desk and asked to be reassigned but she was experiencing problems. The desk clerk was the only person on property and it was her first Saturday alone. There was no manager or other type of backup for her. She called her managaer and he said he would be back shortly. I was running late do proceeded to shower and get dressed. I went by the desk on my way to my event and the manager still was not there. She assigned me to another room to which I proceeded. This room was first floor but not a key and to my shock not cleaned. Back to the desk I go and finally the manager was there. His reassignment wasn't better. I came back grim ther party it was storming. I got to my room the bottom half of the door didn't close tightly and the mosguitose were in ther room. When I showered in morning the tub never drained. I went to the office to checkout and complain and ask for an adjustment on my bill and again NO MANAGER. I used to manage Red Roof Inns before they negan franchising....ever since franchise ownership started the product has been questionable. Never again for me. Manager Rocky Patel is an absent manager and a very poor quality hotel. Not sure what or when they were granted a 92 grade A on.
