We booked to stay two nights and couldn’t even tolerate one. Even though this place allows pets, not worth it. Our dog instantly was scratching at themselves walking into the room. Our dog hid under the table and decided to go into their crate for the time spent in the room. The room was not mopped and there’s no way the room was deep cleaned (COVID style). It looks like someone did a surface wipe on some areas and changed linens and moved on. Lights in the room were not working either. Such a dark and dirty place. I added photos for some important areas and what I remembered to capture (sink, tissue, ironing board, couch that’s not presented on the online photos, and the light switch on and not working). Some guests with a large group of children were running around late into the night; playing tag, spraying each other with water, etc. noisy as ever outside in the grassy area near the empty pool. We ended up leaving the next day. The one star is there only because I’m not allowed to leave a “0.”

Wish I had more time

Carla and the crew were very friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and very close to beach also a lot of shops near by as well as restaurants. Hopefully we will be back very very soon. Thanks again for everything 🙂

Amazing Customer Service

I wanna thank Carla and the rest of the team for their wonderful customer service on 2/25/2021. Their an amazing team that work together and once I’m back in Wilmington filming again I’ll be sure to book my stay with Redroof Inn. Thank you again!

Dirty and Dangerous

Stayed here and found this under my bed in a "clean room". Yes,those are dirty used dope needles!!!! Was moved to another room,after already arriving early hours in the morning and after dealing with moving was only able to get 3 hours of sleep(and paid for a full night). The next morning complained to management they offered only 15% off my stay to remedy this. That is unacceptable. The manager was on her cell phone and wouldn't get off of it to even speak to me. I was written back by this franchise manager and was basically called a liar that they didnt even find anything in the room and there's nothing they are going to do. At the same time if im finding crap like this in my room i would be willing to bet my life this place is NOT keeping up with the states COVID cleaning procedures.

Worst experience EVER ‼️

I checked into the hotel at 1pm today, gather my belongings, went inside the room, put my things down and proceeded to spray and clean the room w Lysol. As I pulled the sheets back there was a ROACH walking in the bed. I instantly killed it then called the front desk. Carla the manager was not helping w the situation, she offered to switch me to another room but let’s be real ONE roach means HELLA OTHER ROACHES! I just wanted my money back, I didn’t even get to shower, hell I wasn’t in my room long. Since she could not help me I called corporate, they were hella helpful compared to Carla. Not to mention as I was waiting for corporate to pickup I was reading the reviews on google and booking.com (which I wish I wlda did prior to booking) and the reviews were AWFUL!! I knw some ppl make things worse than what they really are but I was one good review ever 30 bad ones. So please if you do not want to sleep w a live roach DO NOT STAY HERE ‼️
