Adamstown Antique Extravaganza
October 02, 2018

We stay here at least 4 times a year because it’s so close to Adamstown Pa. The hotel is extremely clean and well kept. Parking is always a concern and they have a huge lot. The free breakfast is a big plus also. I was happy to find out they are pet friendly because I needed to bring my cat this time and there was no additional charge. I can’t wait to stay there again.

The only real bright spot to this stay was Stacy, whom we had the pleasure to meet @ check out. The room was OK and appeared adequately clean until we saw stains on the bedspread. Full bath with tub was less than OK as there were exactly 2 never seen fabric softener bath towels. Breakfast not worth mentioning. Tip to front desk @ check in: have fresh coffee for your weary travelers and offer a warmer welcome. It would have went a long way for us. If I came to this area again, I wouldn't stay here.

Nice place to lay your head for the night
August 31, 2018

I was in the area doing antique shopping for the weekend and we decided to stay at this place. It is basically your typical red roof hotel. It was extremely quiet which is nice because sometimes you can get very loud crowds or perhaps crying children etc. I didn’t hear any other people the night we spent there. In the morning I had breakfast and it was very minimal. A few pieces of fruit, English muffin, a few pre-made muffins, Toast, two types of cereals and of course my favorite the waffle maker. There was some juice coffee And tea as well. We were the only people having breakfast there so it was quiet and place was readily available to sit. The room was typical And not much to explain. What I did like is that the floor was actually fake wood and not carpeting. And the day of age of bedbugs it’s nice to see carpet is not there. What I didn’t like are the pillows but I feel a lot of hotels have not the best pillows. The room could have used a new paint job but I can’t really complain because it really did not affect how we can use the room. This is just a random comment but I was impressed that the remote control was brand new when it did not look crusty like some hotel rooms you can go to. Parking was not a problem as I had a front row. If you did not want to use breakfast there there was a Dunkin’ Donuts right next-door and a diner right across the street almost. When I make my travel to this area I would definitely consider staying at this place again.

Terrible place
August 30, 2018

We checked in and all was wonderful until we got in our room.. smelled like butts, no microwave (as advertised) and the toilet, well the pictures will speak for themselves! I don't think the maid cleaned the toilet in a while. No tip unless that mess is cleaned up. I did go tell the front desk, we will see tomorrow if the maid cleans it. If not oh boy they will have a HOT MESS on their hands! 🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 $100+ a night. Seriously!?! 🤬 RIP off Our buddies just had to change rooms due to AC not working properly. I guess this place is good for a guick one night but we are here for 3 nights.. we shall make the best of it. Street Outlaws No Prep Kings tomorrow 😁 yeah

Friendly staff - clean - provides the essentails - noisy!
April 29, 2018

Over-all good, clean, basic hotel! Friendly accommodating staff!. Could do an upgrade on mattress & pillows! Very noisy due to traffic, thin walls, plumbing! Needs more lighting that accommodates reading etc. Small rooms & bathrooms if you're looking for lots of space to move around in!
