The hotel was pretty clean and nice. I also liked being able to park 5 feet from our room. My only issue was the man at the front desk. We checked in no problem. Later, I asked for extra towels because there were only two in the room and there were three of us. Immediately he was argumentative. He told me the reservation was made for two guests (wrong). I booked online at booking.com and pulled up my confirmation email which said there were three of us. He told me I wasn’t charged for three people (which I don’t understand, especially because we DID make a reservation for three). After I told my friend that he was being rude to me (he was within earshot) he did apologize for being curt with me. To be fair, it was 2am, but it’s still uncalled for.

Great growth I see in this employee.

Hello my name is RENEE MILLIGAN. Im a frequent quest at your WONDERFUL RRI. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE. When im here for business(which is ALWAYS why im in pa) i know if my day is going to hell my hotel room is clean, fresh and just the right comfortable for me to relax and get myself right to start over in the a.m. Im here todau to send you a LOVELY COMPLIMENT about Denise your BEAUTIFUL housekeeper. Everytime i see her when im here she is always smiling, she always acknowledges me, says good morning we chat for a few and she always tells me have a great and safe day. Now ive been using the rri for many years and some of your long term employees dont do that to quest. Ive seen it and they are even like whatever to me and i always say good morning. But anyway thats why im putting this out there. Im a business womem I am a manager with about 100 or so people under me, I notice potential, strength and worthiness of moving forward in a company, Denise is 1 of those pushing to the top employees. We spoke about her moving up or considering trying to get another position at the rri and she said yes. She wants to do it all lol but she wants to try the front desk and with me being a quest and a manager i see her potential and she would kill the front desk position💯%. I think you would see customer service numbers sky rocket veru fast. I offered Denise a job with one of my buildings for my company here is Levittown and she Thanked me and nicely declined. I hope you give her a chance at the front desk, I hope you give her the chance to shine for your company becsuse thats EXACTLY what she will do for your company if given the opportunity. Im sad and upset she declined my offer, we would of loved to have had her aboard. Your very lucky rri that she is loyal and wants to progress in your hotel. I hope you get it Denise... A Good Find Late at Night

We went here after having to pull off the road due to fatigue. Originally we viewed another hotel which we just couldn't stay at. It was awful, like something out of the movie The Shining. We did the Google search and found this place. It was great and we only had one complaint, although it wasn't a complaint for us as we were in the room. It might have been annoying for the rooms around us. The shower made a squeaking noise after about five mins. The beds were very comfy and I had a great nights sleep, as jet lag was gradually catching up with me. I will definitely stay at a Red Roof whenever I am in the US again. We also stayed in a Red Roof at Newark, Delaware the next night and that was just as great.

I have chosen Red Roof locations on my many business trips. My multi day stay at this location was dismal. Upon checking in, I had a reservation, I was met by employees right outside of the lobby who were smoking. Within several feet of the door and next to a no smoking sign! The front desk employee avoided eye contact and conversation while thrusting paper and pen at me to sign and initial. Oh and she told me that this was a non-smoking hotel? My third visit at this place showed a sharp sudden decline in overall quality and upkeep. The first room I was given was unhealthy. They gave me a different room. The key to the second room did not work in the lock. An employee working a few doors away came and jiggled the handle and got it open. She told me that most of them do this? This room was somewhat better but I kept my shoes on. There were also quite a few guests out and about at all hours partying, working on vehicles in the lot, and being obnoxious. I even witnessed what I believe were numerous drug transactions. Never again! I do not know who bribed the other reviewers to gush about this excuse for hospitality. Beware.

New housekeeper is a keeper

Hi my name is David and me and my family stayed at your hotel during our Christmas visit it was the 24th and 26th. We got lucky enough to meet your new housekeeper Denice. She was very happy, nice and was very into making sure we had what we needed during our stay. My brother's wife happened to be there today as well due to a stay from last night,but had to check out early due to personal family issues. She too got the privilege of meeting Denice and we are glad we had. She is definitely a keeper, your hotel is great but she makes your stay alot more memorable. She asked me and my wife not to write this nor to make a big deal to her boss but now that we see she was not just "acting" for her job, we decided what the heck we are going to give her the props well deserved. I hope you acknowledge you have a "AWESOME" employee in her, she definitely went out of her way to make sure we were happy. Kudos to you Denice for doing your job to the best of your ability. I hope to see you when we visit sesame this summer. Please don't be mad at us lol, but now that you made not just my family but my sister in law feel welcome you deserve to be recognized. Sincerely, The Smith and Marinelli Family! I hope our review makes her feel at home and happy just as she did us.. Happy New year to your staff!
