Just unbelievable!!
August 07, 2019

A friend of the family recommended this place to me after driving all night from NY. But this hotel is a complete joke. The door lock was malfunctioning. The place was jam packed with workers, so I was told I couldnt change rooms. The bathroom was dirty, the beds creaked every single time I moved. The room had a weird odor. The breakfast area was just disgusting. I read a response from the manager on one of the reviews that said they had regualr check ins from the health department...well that must be a big fat lie. The place where the danishes and bagels sit, the containers are DIRTY! You can see old dried fooold stuck on them. They are broken and the food is exposed the entire time. Turned my stomach completely. The obly bright spot was the younger African American girl who checked me in. She was so sweet and helpful even with all of the complaints I made, she made me feel so welcomed. If I do ever stay here again, it will be because of that girl. Do not expect luxury from this hotel. The Quality Inn is a bit more pricey but definitely cleaner and easier to get into the rooms. The only reason this hotel is getting two stars is for that sweet young girl.

Hoped for Better, but not Totally Disappointed
April 28, 2019

This aging traditional two-story outside-access motel property looked well maintained on the outside, just as the pictures confirmed. However, my room disappointed, despite the appealing-looking photos. Here is a summary of issues I found: The flatscreen TV was mounted crooked (good grief!), the bedsprings creaked each time the occupant in bed moved, the footstool to the easy chair was badly stained in several places -- probably best just to discard it in the trash. The a/c unit also was annoyingly noisy. One lamp was missing a lightbulb. The continental breakfast was minimal and held in a cramped dining room. Adding bananas, oranges, and yogurt would have made the morning meal a lot nicer. When I booked my reservation, I was hoping the outdoor pool might be open during my visit, but admittedly late April might be too early. I was pleased to find a Gideon's Bible in the room (generally, a declining practice among U.S. motels) and a large selection of TV channels, including a local TBN affiliate (WELF, line-up channel 4). The three pillows on each bed were rather limp and should be updated. I'm pleased to say I had no cleaning issues, which is often guests' primary concern for an aging establishment such as this. While I wish my stay had been better accommodated, I wasn't totally disappointed and would probably stay again at the right price.

Best experience ever!

My stay was just for some me time and relaxation, very clean and most of all James greeted me with a smile and amazing personality! Most definitely will stop here anytime I travel! Keep up the great work!

Avoid A Dump, Keep Driving
January 18, 2019

This is quite the low budget, no frills hotel. Upon entering the room, my husband took two burned out light bulbs to front desk for replacements so we could have lights. Door to room didn't open without pushing and kicking it. The springs on the bed made the worst noise. It was metal on metal, forget turning over, the noise was ridiculous. Not only was ours loud, but we could also hear the spring noise in our neighbors room. The towels were thin and past their prime. No tissues in room, apparently they are a luxury. Note in breakfast area said no food to be taken out of room. So no hot tea to go. Also a note on wall said they are allowed to hand wash their dishes, how disgusting. I would never recommend this dump to anyone. Sorry I wasted my time and money.

I stay at the Red Roof Inn when traveling on business. The staff is friendly. I will be staying here again. The staff makes sure all your needs are met. The breakfast is sufficient. I would recommend this hotel.
