Just OK

Like all hotels in or near Nashville, this one is overpriced, especially on a Saturday night. Especially considering it 's a motel, has no pool, and doesn't offer breakfast. The property is dated. There appears to have been some remodeling, and the towels were surprisingly nice, but it needs more remodeling. But in our Superior King room, they left us ONE bath towel for TWO registered guests. The WIFI is horrible - could never get it to connect for more than a minute or two. The room was mostly clean, but I did find a few bugs. We were in the back building and the landscaping rocks around the parking lot were full of beer bottle caps and cigarette butts. We were on the 2nd floor on the room beneath us on the 1st floor spent most of the night standing outside their room by their truck drinking beer. Based on the caps and broken glass all over the property, this seems to be a common practice. I would not stay here again, and still have no idea what the PLUS meant because I didn't notice anything extra.

Great value

My husband and I spent our one year anniversary in Nashville,TN as that’s where we got married October of 2016. Room was great for the price. We stayed 2 nights and don’t really have any complaints. Not too far of a drive to the bars downtown. Uber fee wasn’t even that bad had we chose that route.

The remodel job didn't help this place

Really just wanted a quick place to stay along the highway and didn't expect frills. I've stayed here before and it was just OK. But I thought that with the remodel and "upgrade" to PLUS+ status that it would be better. Wrong, the remodel is just cosmetic - this place got worse. It wasn't unclean, but uncomfortable. The bed sucked, they have a plastic liner under the sheet. The HVAC doesn't work well - you're hot one minute, then cold the next. Skip over this place if you can.

My husband and I were in Houston assisting with the animal rescue effort. On our way back home to Northwest NY we stayed at the Red Roof Inn for the night with a dog we rescued. The room was very nice, very clean and comfortable. For the price it was worth staying there. Tammy was at the registration desk and she was extremely nice. We definitely stay there again.

Very nice for the price

We made a last minute trip to Goodlettsville for a family funeral. The first several hotels that I called were booked solid. I asked one of them where else was a good place to stay and she recommended the Red Roof Inn since they had recently redone their rooms. They were able to accommodate us and I booked their premium king room, mainly to satisfy my husband who tends to like more upscale hotels. When we arrived, there was a large group checking in and some of those made me a bit leery, but when we got our room it was near the office and seemed safe enough. The room itself was very comfortable. It was clean and the bed and pillows were just right. There were a microwave and refrigerator, plus a large desk. It was very nice for the money. The premium room came with a bottle of water, juice and snacks. There was a comfortable chair but there was no light so that you could sit there and read, nor a place to put it where you could watch TV. The check in was a bit slow, but they had a large group to check in. Right next door was a Cracker Barrel. All in all, I would stay there again.
