Affordable choice in Nashville

Tried to book a hotel for one night in Nashville and was completely shocked by the going rates and then I found this place. 6 miles from downtown but really affordable. Close to Route 65. Hot showers and great, comfy bed. Nothing fancy and no great views but perfect for an overnight stay.

WHAT in the world happened to you, Red Roof?

My friend and I stayed here, checking in late on Wednesday March 7th, and checking out on Sunday morning March 11th. We were in town for the AKC dog shows for the entire weekend. Now, I always try my best to stay at Red Roof, I am a Red card member, so I put a level of trust in this chain. I can honestly tell you that I have NEVER had such a stay. I have never been told by ANY hotel/motel staff that it was just too bad that there was not enough parking. And to top that off, A FRONT DESK EMPLOYEE PARKED IN ONE OF THE 10 MINUTE CHECK IN PARKING SPOTS....for his ENTIRE overnight shift!!! What? My friend and I addressed the parking with the woman at the desk. She told us there was parking, and then proceeded to tell the other guests after us that they could park-and I quote- anywhere just as long as they weren't blocking another guest. I am attaching pictures of one of the reasons why we had nowhere to park, and I am still shaking my head over this ... I will be certain to let all my friends and family know not to bother with this Red Roof Shame on you Red Roof. I am very disappointed.

Industrial area but close to downtown

We stopped here on our way to Florida; this Red Roof Inn is in a very industrial area; also nearby is a Waffle House, LaQuinta, Cracker Barrel, train tracks, the highway & warehouses. However, the rooms were clean albeit a tad small. We used Lyft for a ride downtown & it took maybe 10-15 minutes. So, if you want to spend time downtown, staying at this Red Roof is an economical way to do that. There is coffee, tea, & hot chocolate available in the morning.

Travel with dog

Due to predicted bad weather, I traveled to Nashville with my seriously ill dog and chose the Red Roof Inn as it was close to the specialty vet. Check in was very smooth and the newly renovated room was tastefully decorated and very clean. The room was not extremely spacious, but certainly adequate. I was especially pleased with the hard surface floor. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were hard and flat. Though the interstate is on one side and a heavily traveled street on the other, the room was very quiet. If need be, I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect for us

With costly hotels in Nashville, this was perfect for us. It was close and assessable to Downtown and 65. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean. We would definitely stay there upon a return visit. It made our Nashville stay enjoyable!
